The videos I took are only good for playing on my TV at home and laughing by myself, but I think they might be useful for people who are considering where to go touring, so I'll try to upload them from time to time.
So, the Nishi-Izu Skyline.
I've been there many times by car, and twice by bike, but there's not much traffic, it's beautiful, and it's free.
On a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji, and it's my favorite road in Izu at the moment because it takes you right to the ocean in Nishi-Izu after a great run through the mountains.
Really, 20 minutes after driving through the mountains, you can be at the beach and take a nap on the beach.
I'm sure I'll be going to Gunma and Nagano more often in the coming seasons, but the good thing about Izu is that you can enjoy both the mountains and the sea with such ease.
