Due to the busy start of the year and the end of the year, I haven't been able to make any progress on my Ninja 650...... In March, I used the fact that I had rented a bike as an excuse to go out, so all of my most recent touring was on a 100+ horsepower StoFy 4 cylinder.
So what happens when you're riding a Ninja 650 with 71 hp at 8,000 rpm and 6.5 kg at 7,000 rpm?
The normal rpm range is increased to 5,000 rpm even in the city.
I've gotten so used to the stiffer acceleration that there are times when I feel like I'm starting out slow. This is especially true when I'm trying to pass through traffic on the highway and I need to accelerate and decelerate with a sense of urgency.....
The torque and power that I thought I couldn't use right after I received the car, I can get used to it (I'm not saying I can use it).
By the way, it's been getting warmer lately and I was thinking, "The season of hot engines is here: ....." The only thing that was hot was the upper right side. The crankcase and other parts are fine. Why is that? I got off the bike and checked the suspension springs and they were hot.... I don't think I've ever felt that before the OHLINS upgrade on the Ninja 400 to Ninja 650......
Selecting a candidate for an additional vehicle: ..... Displacement: 650cc or more or less
This is why I'm looking for more vehicles. In terms of displacement, they range from the 250cc Serow/GB250 Clubman to the SR400 to the over-liter class.
There's the Ninja 650, a middle-class tourer, so I have three choices for a bike with a different character: off-road, naked (sto-fi), or cruiser.
In fact, I have only ridden two bikes in the 250cc class: a Rebel that I test rode this year, and a Suzuki ACROSS that I rode a little bit on a friend's bike in the 20th century (I think I also rode a VT250 a little bit? I don't know if I would be satisfied with owning a bike of less than 400cc displacement. I don't know if I'd be satisfied with owning a bike with a displacement less than 400cc, but it would be a shame to waste a valuable rental bike slot on a cheap 250cc bike.........If you rent a car, even if you rent a serow, you can't drive it hard on the forest road.
I'm going to try to compare various displacements in one day at the test drive event.
I thought I'd take a test ride to compare bikes that are not available for rent. In the meantime, here are some of the test rides that are being held in the area.....
However, I'm not sure if this type of"Events with a fixed time and place"The first time I went out, I ended up switching to touring and didn't go.
The Nasu MSL Step Up Test Ride is a closed course, so people with regular licenses can also test ride large vehicles.&Since the event is sponsored by the Red Baron, it looks like there may be some older models available to ride.
By the way, today......
Due to the rush to deliver goods at the end of the fiscal year, I've been moving around a lot. Even though I was working on a weekday, my mileage ended up being over 200km....... When I cleaned the chain the other day, I noticed that it was a little loose, so I stopped by Kawasaki Plaza on my way home and told them, "I didn't buy this bike here, but .... So I stopped by Kawasaki Plaza on my way home and asked them to adjust the chain. The staff vaguely remembered my face, so I asked them a few questions about the Z900, which will be released in April, and went home.
The Z1000 and Z900 (≠RS) are not equipped with a tracon......
