It's a three-day weekend, and I was planning to head out to the Southern Alps the day before to check out some hot springs, but I ended up oversleeping and the weather wasn't great....... Tomorrow is going to be sunny, so we canceled the touring........
Oh, yeah, let's go for a test drive!
So I called BMW motorrad after searching and confirming on their website that I wanted to ride the BMW F800GT, but unfortunately, they said they no longer had any test rides available. I called and asked, "What tourer test rides do you have around the liter mark?" The MV AGUSTA STRADALE 800 and BMW R1200RS were the candidates. Since I plan to rent the latter one soon, I reserved the MV AGUSTA.
And here we are.Fukuda Motor Shokaihe.
The signboard says "BMW Motorrad," but they carry not only BMW, but also MV AGUSTA, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Royal Enfield, and Can-Am Spyder. When I talked to the staff, they said they can also handle Triumph.
So, I did as I was advised.
I test drove three of them.
In the past, I have only rented or ridden for 24 hours, and I was not attracted to short test rides because I knew that my impression of the car would change drastically after the first ride and after touring........
BMWs are really cool, aren't they?
I'll write about my impressions of each car in a separate article, but I'm already impressed by the high level of perfection of BMW cars as industrial products. I guess once you drive one, you'll never be able to drive anything else.
So, for today, I just took a test drive and got a quote for two BMW models and went home. I drove through Ginza, where Mr. Mac Akasaka, who is running for the governor of Tokyo, was giving a speech, and from Miyakezaka to 246. I stopped at Sangenjaya because I was hungry. We stopped at Tokyo Gyozaoro.
I've never ordered anything other than this combination, for a total of 980 yen. The meat and miso bean sprouts are placed on rice to make a rice bowl, my style.
So, the middle day of the three-day weekend is over. I'm going home to work and prepare for tomorrow's touring.
By the way, when I got home, I already got a sales email from Fukuda Motor Company. "If you're interested, you can take a 2-hour test ride on the highway, so please come again!
