Finally a rain-free weekend: ..... No, it did rain on Saturday, though.
Today's forecast for the Kanto region is cloudy throughout the day...... So, I'm going out. I'm not going to go on the highway because my tires are showing slip signs on both the front and rear.Today's theme is."Touring on the lower road"
We left at eight in the morning. We didn't have a destination in mind, but for the time being, we went to our usual destination, Doshi-michi.
The road was not so crowded. Today, I changed from my summer gear of mesh jacket and shoes to my autumn gear of leather jacket and safety shoes, and the temperature was just right.
I came out without breakfast, so I was a little hungry. I remembered that there was a gibier restaurant on the way to the Southern Alps where you could eat a set meal of deer or wild boar at a reasonable price! So I searched for it on my phone, but couldn't find it: ..... I thought I might be able to find it while I was running, so I found my destination.I've been wanting to go to a hot spring in the Southern Alps for a while.and start running.
But I couldn't resist and ate a Hoto in the vicinity of Lake Motosu (no photos of the food because my phone ran out of battery).
After dinner, we took the Southern Alps Highway from Motosu-michi. This is a nice road along the Fuji River. It was my first time on this road, and it was perfect for a leisurely drive with little traffic and a view. I wonder if it gets crowded during the autumn foliage season?
But then, when I was driving to the hot spring, something was wrong with my phone's navigation system: .........
Halfway through, my cell phone (au) was out of range, and in addition, the GPS signal was lost and wouldn't give me directions.
I had no choice but to stop at a random hot spring on the street.
A closed junior high school was used for this project.Town-run hot spring facilities ”Healthy Misato" The name may not be great, but the employees, who I assume are locals, are friendly, and the place is empty. Because it was daytime, I was alone in the bath.
After a relaxing soak in the hot spring, we continued north on the Minami-Alps Highway. If we can get through to Route 20, we might as well go to the Venus Line, but as we were driving along, we saw a disturbing sign: .....
Oh, I see. W. My car restriction.
We had no choice but to continue a little further and take a break at the shore of Lake Narada. We turned back from here. Unfortunately, the Minami-Alps Highway seems to be a straight road. Unfortunately, the Minami-Alps Highway seems to be a single road, and since we can't use the navigation system, we had to turn back the way we came. ....
So I went to Motosu-michi again. I thought I saw a report on the news yesterday that Mt. Fuji was covered in snow, so I dropped by the observation area, but due to my poor daily routine, I couldn't see the top of Mt. Fuji. .......
I meekly ate butter chicken at an Indian restaurant I found along 246 and went home.
So our 400km downhill one-day touring trip came to an end.
I've booked a rental of the Falcon for next weekend.I wonder where I should go.
