I can't go out touring due to the stagnant autumn rain front.
The only difference from the 2016 model is the color scheme.Candy lime green has been dropped from the lineup.
- ABS Special Edition: Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Spark Black
The cowl has some fancy decals on it. In the stock version"400"I've used a fairly large area, including the area where the decals are applied. On the car body"400"There's no notation!I guess that's the most important feature. Personally, I think it's a little too flashy for my liking.
- Metallic Graphite Gray × Metallic Spark Black
It's the standard black. The rear suspension spring is also the standard green, but I believe the stock 2016 car was black.
- Candy Burnt Orange x Metallic Spark Black
The orange model was also available in 2014, the year of its debut, although the color scheme was different, and I think this color is my favorite among the 2017 models.
Color variations prior to the 2016 model year are described in the article here.
Other than color, are there any differences between years?
I looked up the Kawasaki release to find out. Of course, there are some minor modifications. I've heard that the part number of the rear view mirror has changed during the process. However, it doesn't affect the appearance or function. There may be some minor changes in engine settings or parts used, but if they are directly related to performance improvements, they will be advertised at the time of release.

It's only changed color variations since its debut. Considering that it's being rolled out at the same time as the Ninja 650/ER-6f for the international market."It's a domestic-only vehicle, so it won't be changed."It seems that this is not the case. Of course, it's a low-cost model, so it won't have the latest controls... I don't think that's the case.
So, if you're considering buying a NInja 400, you can choose one with or without ABS and in a different color.
I hope there will be more Ninja 400 riders because it's a great bike for anything other than long touring trips on the highway for a few hundred kilometers. I hope there will be more Ninja 400 riders because it's a great bike for anything but that.......
