Most of the bikes in the parking lot are equipped with handlebar covers: ........ I also have a handlebar cover in my seat bag, and I'm planning to put it on when I can't stand the grip heater anymore, but it hasn't come into use yet.
I was thinking of getting a knuckle guard.But I think I can make it through this winter without it.
However, it was extremely cold when we got off the train and the heat was off. I had to stop for coffee at every opportunity.

I don't feel like riding in the winter without this equipment anymore, so I'm taking a break from renting bikes.....
The MT-09 and XSR900 are now on the fixed price menu at the rental bike store I have a contract with, and I want to compare them, but I'll have to wait until spring.
