This was my first touring trip after purchasing the car, so I'll write down some of the things I felt.
- It turns better than Ninja 400.
Kawasaki says that the difference between the 400 and 650 is not only in the engine, but also in the suspension settings, and even if you take away the austerity of the new bike, the suspension settings seem to be more sport-oriented. - Low initial fuel consumption.
I've never paid much attention to fuel consumption, and although the meter can display average fuel consumption or instantaneous fuel consumption, I've never seen it. With the Ninja 400, the warning blinked after 350km, and I could drive 100km from there. But this time the warning flashed at 300km after refueling. - Engine heat problems
I don't feel it so much while touring, but it still bothers me a little when I have to keep stop and go at traffic lights. The fan turns pretty quickly. I think it's partly because I can't turn it hard when I need to, so even when I'm stopped at a red light, if I don't have enough room, I don't slip through.
- Gear Ratio
I felt it during my test drive almost a year ago.As you can see, at the same pace, I can run almost 1,500 rpm lower than the Ninja 400. On the other hand, there is a lot of vibration and it can be tiring over long distances, but I'm sure that will go away when I'm done breaking it in and can turn it.
It's super nice to be able to enjoy a little bit of scenery while driving with a thumping heartbeat. Now it's time to see how the pace of highway driving will be after the break-in process........
- Clutch slightly heavy
On the other hand, the NINJA 400's squishy clutch lever was a bit of a disappointment, so I like the 650's grip better because I can feel some stress. Even though it's heavy, it's not too heavy to grip while shifting frequently on mountain roads.
