Last week, we had some midsummer days, and the weather didn't feel like April. It was a perfect day to travel by motorcycle. It was a great day to be on the road. On this day, I took the Metropolitan Expressway from the Meguro area to Minami Aoyama via Roppongi.
There is an underground parking lot in the building next to the HONDA Aoyama headquarters, so I always park my motorcycle there.
I arrived a little early, so I took a look at the Honda cars to cool off, although I was wondering if they had any CB1000Rs......
There were only 125 on display.
The most interesting part was the commemorative exhibit of the first generation Cub.
Even though I'm not a big fan of Honda, I'm still impressed by the fact that they put an engine on a bike and said, "Oh, so this is where Honda started.
Parking problems when traveling in Tokyo
On this day, I was going to have yakiniku (grilled meat) with my colleagues from the foreign finance company where I used to work, so I moved to Akasaka for the evening. There are very few parking lots for motorcycles in this area, and as far as I know, this is the only one.
There really aren't many parking lots when traveling around Tokyo by motorcycle. In some cases, I have to give up and take the train, or walk 2km from the parking lot to my destination....... I wish there was something I could do about this...... I wonder if it's better to drive..... Just when I was thinking that, good news came to me. On April 16, the National Police Agency issued a notice to prefectural police to "promote the improvement of the parking environment for motorcycles and other vehicles."
Examine the possibility of reviewing the exclusion of motorcycles from the parking ban regulations.
Consideration should also be given to the possibility of "abolishing prohibited parking regulations," "designating parking regulations and methods" for motorcycles and other vehicles, and "reviewing the implementation of time-limited parking zone regulations.
This is a great expectation, since the government office is an organization that operates under instructions from the top.
This day's yakiniku restaurant was Akasaka Misuji, an affiliate of the famous Aoyama Yoroniku.
It was a very tasty yakiniku restaurant, and more reasonable than the original Yoroniku, so I think I'll go back on my bike.
I can't reach C-BOW.........
The new touring goods that I had announced in yesterday's article, I bought this one.
This is HEPCO&BECKER's C-Bow, which has been a candidate for loading consideration for a long time. However, the only thing that has arrived is the bag. The stay part hasn't arrived yet..... I placed an order at the beginning of April, and it was originally scheduled to arrive in Japan on April 18, but it never arrived. When I checked today, the answer was that it would take the rest of this week...... I wonder if it will arrive in time for GW.
