More than two years ago."I don't ride without a protector. I won't let you ride."I once wrote an article about this, and even now, I almost never ride a motorcycle with a jacket without protectors, at least on the upper body.
I've been thinking that riding jackets aren't good enough for walking around town. I wear a summer jacket that doesn't have any Ruff and Road logo on it....
The only winter jackets I have are the ones that make me look like a rider... By the way, the current lineup looks like this.

At the time, they cost about 120,000 for a new one at the SCHOTT store in Shibuya, but I looked for a used one and bought a like-new one for less than half the price.

This is the warmest garment I have on hand. It keeps the heat in, and it's great for the annual sunrise touring in January and February... But the design is a bit embarrassing when you get off the bike... The material is also a synthetic leather.

This is a garment that is very active in the spring, summer and fall as I mentioned earlier.

So, I went to 2Rinkan because I had another matter to attend to. I look for Komine products in the inner protector section.
But they didn't have any... I had no choice but to try on the one from MOTORHEAD, a clothing brand of 2Rinkan, but I think I can go to work in this one with a shirt and a jacket on top... I'm thinking that KOMINE is the way to go, so I'll go to NAPS or Nankai parts soon.
Oh, by the way, there were more of these in the rental bike lineup at 2Rinkan.
I'm going to rent one and ride it soon.
Returning home on SR400
So, here is today's rental bike.
As a Japanese man, I would like to ride a YAMAHA SR400 at least once.A work and fire buddy of mine was riding a custom cafe racer style.I rented it partly because I thought it was cool.
The car didn't have a cell, so I had to learn how to start it with a kick-start only, so I watched a YouTube video to prepare myself so I wouldn't end up like this guy.
So I practiced right after the rental... It took me four tries to get the engine to start.
Once I got the hang of it, I was able to do it in one or two tries, so I guess I'll have no problem getting used to it. For a slim and light body...
Plated and shiny. The drum brakes on the rear wheels, round lights and large blinkers are a classic style that is very cool.
It's a fun vehicle to ride, similar to the Harlery-Davidson 883. Normally, I would head straight home, but I ended up riding it around the hills around my house.
The 400cc single-cylinder engine has a maximum output of 26PS and a maximum torque of 2.9kgm, so you can't expect a fast start, but you can rev up the engine and start shifting at around 4,000rpm +α... This is.......Running electric motor (compliment)
It seems that if I want to ride the bike the way I like it, I should ride it in a higher gear at less than 3,000 rpm. The light weight of the bike makes it very fun to ride in the corners.
