Today, I was on my way to work on my motorcycle, and in the midst of the strong winds of the first storm of the year, I took the Tomei Highway from Kawasaki to Tokyo and had meetings here and there.
The bike, the store, and the trash can were all green at the FamilyMart where I took a break........
After the meeting, I decided to go straight home to work at my desk today. I decided to take a break and look at helmets at 2Rinkan on the way.
I would like to have a micro ratchet chinstrap, but for full face, the only option is SHOEI GT-Air.There is also NEOTEC, but the system helmet is too big and heavy for me, so I decided to give it a try.
I tried on this one first; I'd seen it on Amazon and was curious about the design.SHOEI Z-7 TERMINUS
What? It's easier to wear than the GT-Air I've tried on before: .... Try fitting a D-ring: .......
It's a pain in the ass, this one.
Putting the belt through the D-ring is no problem, but fastening the button at the end is a bit tricky...... But most of the riders are using it, so I guess it's okay once you get used to it. I'm sure I'll be able to get used to it once I get used to it. I've worn a few other designs and while I'm looking in the mirror, I'm getting used to it and my wearing speed is increasing.
And here's an idea."Oh, maybe if I buy a single color QWEST from Amazon, I can buy a pair of Heatech gloves for the difference between them and the GT-Air?"
I checked the Amazon price from my phone on the spot: ......just under 23,000 yen.(As of 11/09/2016)It's a Prime item, so if you buy it today, it will be delivered tomorrow.
This is a very attractive price. I immediately went to the store to try it on, but the fit was not much different from the Z-7. I'm sure the soundproofing and aerodynamics will be different when I try it on, but if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't be comparing the two.
So, after checking the air pressure at the parking lot, I headed home. When I got home, there was something in the delivery box, but I checked Amazon first.
Conclusion: Let's go with the Z-7!
When I got home, I looked at some reviews on the web, and when I went to Amazon to buy QWEST, one review jumped out at me. ”QWEST only removes the cheek pads and chin strap covers, so the interior can't be washed in a jiffy........"
"Oh, really?"So I checked it out and found out it was for real. All SHOEI helmet instruction manuals are available in PDF format on the official website.I'm sure you'll understand.
The top of the head and the part where the forehead touches will absorb perspiration, so it's not washable, and I don't think it's possible to refresh the interior by replacing it.
Well, there's a good reason for the standard model...... When I was convinced that this was the case, I felt a little less greedy, so I opened the Amazon box that I had just collected from the delivery box.
USB Heated Gloves
I was given an Amazon coupon code worth several thousand yen when I answered a questionnaire about my work at a certain place the other day, so I bought this on impulse. When I work at home, I use the air conditioner sparingly because I get dizzy if I turn the heat up too high. In exchange, my hands get cold. .......
If Amazon has it in stock, it's about 1,500 yen. You can also get USB power from your bike.Maybe they can be used as electric undergloves......
Warm to the fingertips! USB Finger Heated Gloves
- Free size gloves with timer for safe and comfortable winter use. USB warm gloves, a winter staple from Sanko
I installed it immediately.
What's this? It's warm.
But it's pretty thick, so I don't think I could put it under my current winter gloves .... I'll use it at home...... I'll just use them at home......
If you are good with your hands, you may be able to cut out the heating part from this and attach it to your existing gloves. However, it seems to be selling well right now, and Amazon doesn't have it in stock, so the price is close to the regular price........
