This winter is the time to buy a full-face helmet.
No, it's not for winter protection...... I also like the SHOEI J-Cruise I'm wearing now.......
But I'm still curious about this kind of information that I often see on the internet: ........ I'm not sure what to do.
It's about what part of the head is damaged in an accident on a public road.44.5% chance of face to face collision: .....
Also, this is a famous photo of a helmet-related accident. A famous American BBS siteOn Reddit, the person who took this photo (the brother of the person who was in the accident) explained the situationit's been done.
Discovered just now that my brother's helmet from his crash 4 days ago reached Front Page on r/WTF the other day. Kind of outraged at all the skeptics. Here's another angle. AMA about my brother.
Fortunately, the person who was involved in the accident survived, and thanks to the helmet, there was no brain damage.
But here's the thing, if you're wearing a jet helmet (which in all probability is higher than the back of your head) and your face is even slightly grounded, .....
I'm not sure what to do. I can't get rid of the open feeling of a jet helmet, and I'll continue to use it on the streets, but I'll still wear a full-face helmet when I'm touring on the highway........ So, I'm looking for a candidate.
I like the micro-ratchety chinstraps.........
This is the chin strap of the J-Cruise I'm wearing now. Unlike the D-ring type that requires you to pass the belt through a small loop twice, this one can be put on and taken off in a second or two even with gloves on. The helmet I had before my return was a standard D-ring type, but I had a hard time putting on my gloves before fastening the strap... I remember there were a lot of times when I put on my gloves before fastening the strap and laughed.
So, the choices are extremely limited. I would like to choose a SHOEI or ARAI helmet, but ARAI, a stoic and serious manufacturer, does not have a micro ratchet model, and neither does SHOEI.GT-Air and NEOTEC are the only two full-face models that use micro ratchets......NEOTEC is a system helmet, so it's practically a choice. Since the top line X-Fourteen uses regular D-rings.Perhaps I should choose the D-ring over the micro ratchet type.
So I dropped by the store again today on my way to work on my bike and tried on the GT-Air and looked in the mirror...... It's a big cap. Here: ...... So I took a look at it and tried it on. Graphically speaking.TERMINUS model of Z-7I like ...... As I was moving around, I came to the OGK corner. I took a look and found ....... The price is reasonable. They also have a line up of micro ratchets.
One full-face and one system helmet. The full-face KAMUI2 comes with an inner sunshade and theSHOEI and the whole thing.I'm not sure what to do. InAmazon price is half the price of SHOEI.......
I see.Heatech electric heating wear bought as an upper and lower set.You can buy a pair of gloves at .......
Let's worry about it some more: ...... So, I'm going to test ride the Hayabusa I have booked for rental this weekend with a jet helmet: ......
