I've been riding my motorcycle since this morning. I was on a tight schedule, so I spent the day riding mainly on the Tokyo metropolitan highway, and my mileage exceeded 150km...... I wonder if it's a motorcycle delivery service?
So today was kind of a windy day. In the morning, on the bridge over the Tama River into Tokyo."A bit windy, isn't it?"But in the evening, the wind became quite strong. In the city center, the wind was so strong that it almost made me change lanes.
The weather forecast app shows this: .....
After the last meeting in Toranomon, I was driving towards Gotanda and Kawasaki on Route 1 after dark.
High winds and fear are similar....... I was just driving along thinking, "Oh, I guess I haven't checked my air pressure in January......"
In the past, when I was still new to riding just after my return, I had a scary experience with strong winds, and at that time, I changed the tire pressure to a little more than the manufacturer's recommendation and felt much safer. On the way home: ...... There's a 2Rinkan at the intersection of Nakahara Kaido and Kanpachi. In the event that you have any questions regarding where and how to use the internet, you can call us at our own web site.
After increasing the air pressure to the manufacturer's recommended level (I like to use a higher air pressure than specified for the NINJA 400), I was able to start riding without worry. When I crossed the Tama River at Maruko Bridge, the big scooter in the lane next to me was clearly slowing down because of the wind, but I didn't feel too affected.
Hmmm. I didn't know that a mere 10% could make such a difference...... By the way, while touring on Saturday, I had a feeling of being caught in the ruts a couple of times, which was different from normal, but I wonder if it was because of the air pressure......
So, I don't know the logic behind it, but I'd recommend higher air pressure for crosswinds: ..... So, ...... Am I right?
