I don't have a destination in mind as usual, but at this time of year, I'll either go to the Izu Peninsula or the Boso Peninsula. The Boso Peninsula has few roads that are fun to ride (or maybe I just don't know), so I haven't been there yet this season......
Anyway, I got on the expressway from Tomei Kawasaki and headed for Odawara-Atsugi Road. I was going to pass through Atami and go to Higashi-Izu, but the gas warning light flashed around Odawara........ If you drive fuel-efficiently, you can drive about 100km after the light flashes, but it's not good for your mental health, and as a mid-engined car, you want to rev the engine ..... So I decided to get off at Hakone and refuel.
After refueling and feeling relieved, we thought about where to go again. Since we had already left for Hakone, the Nishi-Izu Skyline from the Izu Skyline would be a good choice. We change our destination to Nishi-Izu since we expect to arrive around noon.
