Kawasaki Coffee Break Meeting in Tokyo, which I mentioned in a recent article.I've been there.
I was expecting to see the new Ninja 1000 here, but these two bikes were on display.
There was a notice saying that the Ninja 1000 would be on display in Shibuya. Well, it was alreadyI've already seen the actual car at Kawasaki Plaza.But.
This is why I participated in KCBM for the first time.
Tokyo Summerland is a little over 40 km from my house by expressway. It takes about an hour to get there if you go smoothly. As it was the first day of a three-day weekend, there was some traffic, but we arrived without much stress.
The parking lot is divided into two areas, one for Kawasaki vehicles and the other for other vehicles.
As you can imagine, there were almost no cars from other manufacturers. In the end, the parking lot looked like this. Here it is (probably ....)All Kawasaki vehiclesSome of the bikes were so customized that I couldn't tell the original model, so I'm just guessing .... I'm not sure.
First, I poured a little coffee into the THERMOS portable mug that I brought with me and walked around the venue.
It's fun to stroll around the parking lot area and look at everyone's bikes: .... Or maybe that is the biggest fun of KCBM. There are a lot of customized bikes, rare bikes that I've only seen in pictures, and bikes that I loved when I was in school.
I was particularly curious about this kinky moto-compo. Since I was in the Kawasaki car area, I wondered if it was a KSR chassis with a motocompo skin or something. I wonder if it's actually a Honda engine with a .... I wonder if it's actually a Honda engine.
Kawasaki Coffee Break While I was sipping coffee, looking at the bikes, and browsing the booths, a green lover who always comments on my blog arrived.
In the second half of the meeting, we looked at the bikes together, and unlike me, he had a wealth of knowledge and was fun to talk to. We also talked a little bit about our jobs (I didn't tell him about it because I remembered it after I got home), but it just so happened that I'm working for Mr. Green Lover's company right now, in real time.
It didn't take us long to reach the end of the tour at 12:00, so we promised Mr. Green Lover that we would join him on his next tour and headed home.
It was a beautiful day for touring..........I spent the afternoon working at home (crying)

Although there was an event space, it was basically just a place where something was going on. There was a rock-paper-scissors tournament at the end, but it was too far from the booth, so I cancelled it. I spent the rest of the time at the sales booth, except for looking at the bikes and drinking coffee.
I have to buy this mug.
I got so excited at the merchandising booth that I splurged on three T-shirts, a hoodie, and a knit cap: .....
When I took the short-sleeved tee out of the bag, I found an unexpected back print.
Oh, that was fun.
