This article is a naked account of my laziness that I would like to keep hidden.
First day of Golden Week. According to the weather forecast the day before, the weather was going to break in the afternoon, so I invited some acquaintances over to my house at noon. But in the morning, .........
NInja1000 Test Ride
Visited Kawasaki Plaza the day after the launch.Although I had confirmed that there was a test ride available, I hadn't actually tried it yet. I went to the Kawasaki Plaza with a full heart.
On the street, there is a car that looks like a test drive: ..... And in the store
The three NInja 1000s that will be delivered today. I walked into the store.......... The staff seemed to be very busy explaining the bike before it was delivered and doing other maintenance....... It's a shame I didn't get a chance to talk to them for a test ride, but after a quick look at the z1000 on display, I left the store.
If you can't get a test drive, go to ......
We can rent it. (@_@)
So, I made a reservation during GW.
Chain maintenance in the afternoon.
I had a visitor at lunchtime, but I was free around 3pm. The weather forecast was wrong and it was still sunny, so I went down to the parking lot to do the chain maintenance that I had skipped after the last car wash. This time I have bought this one: ......
If you remove the cover by unscrewing it in three places, you will see ........
You're so dirty (crying)
No, I'm really dirty now.
It's just a matter of unscrewing a few screws and stripping the cover, but that's what happens when you pretend to ignore it for more than 20,000km after delivery.........
Blood O, I'd like to punch myself in the face for getting away with sketchy maintenance.
With great regret, I sprayed the chain cleaner and cleaned it. The important sprocket side was also super dirty, but I was so upset I forgot to take a picture.
I was so upset that I forgot to wear gloves to clean up, and my hands ended up covered in black oil........ But it was worth it.
The filth has been removed.(Left: before cleaning, right: after cleaning)I also brought a toothbrush and chopsticks from my room to clean the sprocket area of the car body.
To finish, use a maintenance roller to clean the chain: ......
After this, I went to Kawasaki Plaza again to have the oil changed and the chain adjusted because I was concerned about the looseness of the chain & it had been about 3,500km since the last oil change.
Normally, after cleaning the chain, the ride is smoother, but this time it's much smoother than before. Next time, I'll make sure to maintain the drive sprocket side as well......orz
By the way, I asked about it at Kawasaki Plaza when I was there.....
The new Ninja 1000 is selling so well that they're planning to increase production in July and August.
I'm looking forward to touring in a rental car..........
