Breakfast at Seseragi Kaido
I had no plan for the second day, but the day before, I met a rider friend on Facebook who is an SR rider."Recommendations for the Seseragi Kaido"So we left the hotel at about 7:30.
A nice mountain road with quite a distance. It's a super pleasant ride. There are many cafes and gohei-mochi (rice cakes) stores scattered along the road, and many resting points. "This is a good road," I thought as I drove to the roadside station.
I see. This road & roadside station is"Doshimichi in Gifu"なI'm sure you're right. I was wondering why I had to start Yaeh in the morning.
After a restroom break, we googled nearby cafes and went to breakfast.
Right after me, a person on a STRADALE 800 with an out-of-town license plate slid in, but he was not the so-called"Rider's Cafe"It's a typical store. There are several old cars on display in the store.
I had a cheap breakfast. We had a cheap morning breakfast, although the part-timer (?) was making a lot of mistakes in ordering in a restaurant that was not so crowded with empty seats.
After I've finished my meal, I study the route on my phone.
Komorebi Road and megaliths
If we continued on the Seseragi Highway, we seemed to end up in the city of Gujo Hachiman, so we forced the navigation system to take us through the mountains to Shimokuri no Sato via Gero Onsen.
Shimoguri Village is a plateau on a ridge extending from the Southern Alps, which has been selected as one of the 100 best villages in Japan. Located at an altitude of 800-1100 meters, it is a place with a spectacular view that has been described as the "Tyrol of Japan.
The area was used as a model for Studio Ghibli's new animated short film "Chuzumo," and this is the scenery you will encounter.
We turned off from the Seseragi Kaido and entered a narrow road as usual..... I thought the road was narrow, but in no time at all, I was on a nice road again. We encountered a very pleasant route along the river.
According to the roadside sign, this road is called Komorebi Road. The roadside sign said that the road was called Komorebi Road. Along the road, there were many stores selling grilled sweetfish.
I took a break at Tosenkyo Kanayama-ko, which I had set as an appropriate destination in the navigation system after driving along a nice road I had unexpectedly encountered.
I can't stop touring solo without deciding on a route because of these unexpected encounters with scenery.
This is what we saw when we took the route around the lake.
Stonehenge-like"something"It's a huge stone. The photo doesn't do it justice, but it's really a huge stone.
We took a break at Roadside Station Kashimo, thinking that it was a pretty good side trip..Today's soft serve ice cream is tomato flavored.
As I took a break, I thought about the fact that I had to walk for about 20 minutes to get to the view point in the photo above. A 40-minute round trip walk would be tough.....
So I searched my phone for something nearby and found .........Oh, I'm only a little over 50km from my vagina: .......
Blue of Aji Valley
Then we went to Aji Valley. This is the same place as last time.Mr. IminashiThe first place that was a candidate for touring with. I feel bad if I go there alone first..... I thought it was a good idea, but please forgive me......
I wonder if it was because of the number of parking spaces. At the entrance to the canyon, a large number of cars were waiting for their turn due to vehicle regulations, but the motorcycles were told they could enter freely and go through the regulations.
So, follow the road along the river for about 3km and you'll find .....
Great view: !!!!
There are some beautiful water points in the Kanto area, such as Kakitagawa Spring and Oshino Hakkai, but most of them are"Water for watching"The Kakinada River has some points where you can take a dip, but the water is so cold from the melting snow of Mt. There is a point where you can take a dip in the Kakinada River, but the water is so cold from the melting snow of Mt. Fuji that swimming is absolutely impossible even in the middle of summer........ But this is .....
Water play is possible.
If you are driving a car, you will have a hard time stopping along the way, but if you are on a motorcycle, you can park on the side of the road where you won't be in the way of passing cars, and go down to the river for a bit.
Highly recommended as a touring destination. Next time I want to revisit in the season of autumn leaves!
Rain, buckwheat noodles, returning home.
We continued to drive on the pleasant roads of Kiso. On the way"It looks like the home of an evil secret society."We took a break to look at Mt. Ontake in Kiso.
There are other scenic routes in this area, such as the Mitake Blue Line, the Kurakoshi Panorama Line, the Mitake Skyline, and the Reimu Line, but I'll leave that for the next time. After enjoying the spectacular view today, we headed back home in a relaxed manner.
But.......It's starting to rain........
The rain was getting heavier, so I rushed to the home improvement store I saw. I didn't bring rainwear this time because I wasn't planning to get caught in the rain.
I bought a cheap raincoat at Home Depot, walked out of the store, smoked a cigarette and said, "I'm lucky I got a raincoat before I got really wet......... I turn on my phone to see what's going to happen with the rain clouds later... .......
It's raining at .... It's only here!
After waiting for about 10 minutes, the rain stopped: ..... In the end, I start running without using rainwear.
"I've wasted so much money......" And then I got hungry too: ......Oh, by the way, I haven't eaten lunch.
We had a late lunch at a soba noodle shop that caught our eye.
When we were full and in a good mood, we headed for the Nirasaki Interchange, and took the Chuo Expressway, the Ken-O Expressway, the Tomei Expressway, and the opposite route home.
We took a break at the PA on the way to the Kobutsu Tunnel, checking the traffic information. We passed through the traffic jam smoothly when the distance was about 5km.
In addition, I encountered rain again on the Ken-O Expressway between Takao and Sagamihara-Aikawa, but of course I wasn't wearing the raincoat I had purchased: .....
This was the end of our two-day, one-night, 1,000 km touring trip.
Ninja 650 improvement points added
After my second 1,000km touring on the Ninja 650, I found some more points for improvement.
- The gas pedal is heavy.
Normally, it doesn't bother me at all, but after riding for more than 20 hours in two days, it's hard on my right hand to turn the gas pedal at the end....... When you install the grip heater, you should consider changing to high throttle or return spring........I'm pretty sure I have one of these...... It's missing, so let's find it.
- Rear suspension, affecting ride quality
greenhornThe seat of the Ninja 400/650 has been praised by many people and is supposed to be painless, but after 7 to 8 hours of riding, it is indeed a pain!
This is.Plan to uncoop the sheetThe reason why the 650 is faster and harder than the Ninja 400 is probably due to the stiffness of the rear suspension setting.
A rear suspension that works a little better should be better, so I'm going to start seriously considering a plan to install OHLINS.
As for the steering wheel vibration, I found it easier to drive at a little over 6,000 rpm in 4th and 5th gear than at 5,000 rpm in 6th gear at a normal highway pace.
So, where should we go next time? ...... This time it will be in Tohoku........
