Typhoon No. 21 has hit the archipelago, but I hope everyone has not suffered any damage......
Normally, I would park with the side stand against the wall to prevent the bike from falling over in the strong winds.
This time it had been raining for a few days, so we parked in the middle of the parking area and welcomed the typhoon. Fortunately, nothing happened to me, but during the typhoon, I was receiving warnings on my phone.....
My home area is under evacuation alert........
I checked on my phone to see how the river flowing nearby was rising and went to the parking lot to check on my bike once, but fortunately it hadn't fallen over.......
VR in my room until the typhoon passes.
The VR compatible games and demos are pretty awesome, but this movie in particular is gooooood.
The next day, I went down to the parking lot and found that the bike cover had come off in the wind and the body of the bike had been completely washed in water.......
I had noticed, but chain cleaning
It was a beautiful autumn day after the typhoon. I went to the parking lot to clean the chain as I have a touring schedule this weekend.
I've noticed it, but it's not good..... Here.
Come to think of it, I don't remember cleaning the chain after the long rain in August: ....... I skipped it and just lubed it.......
So I started cleaning. I put the rear tire on this, which has completely taken the place of the maintenance stand since its introduction.....
Sat in the parking lot and cleaned the chain. It took me about 15 minutes to do it quickly using my usual tools.
AZ 3-sided brush (chain brush) KD054
Product Description
Ideal for cleaning bike chains.
The brushes enclose the chain from three sides for easy and quick cleaning. A long brush is attached to one side for more detailed cleaning.
The nylon brush is safe to use on chains with seals.
At first I had to use both hands to turn the rear tire, but by the time I finished cleaning and lubricating it, it was light enough to be turned with one hand.
Tokyo Motor Show
I have plans to ride my bike this week, besides touring (and work). That is this.
Tokyo Motor Show
Unless I get some urgent work done, I'll have a quick look on Friday.
There are rumors that the new Ninja 400 will share the same bodywork as the new Ninja 250, not a scaled-down version of the 650.
Touring Plan from Mito
And this weekend I have a rental reservation for this in Mito.
The last time I booked a ride, I had to cancel because of the rain, but I'm looking forward to riding the GSX-S1000F because the leaves will be changing color soon in Tohoku.
However, since I couldn't install a smartphone navigation system on my rental bike and I had no idea where I was going, I started researching the course and food in advance.
I'm thinking of going to Utsunomiya to eat gyoza and then go rent a place, and since I'm here, I'm thinking of wandering around Ibaraki Prefecture, but I think it's a little early for the autumn leaves. Maybe I should go to Fukushima......
