According to the weather forecast, there was a 20% chance of precipitation at best, but the weather was not that clear, so we took the Tomei Expressway all the way to Nagaizumi-Numazu.
I was cruising at 100km/h (3,160rpm) in top gear (5th gear), but when I switched to 4th gear (less than 3,700rpm) midway, the beating feeling disappeared, but the vibration of the engine became continuous, making high-speed driving much easier. Since the cruiser has an easy riding posture, we arrived at the entrance of the Izu Jukan Expressway without taking a break.
There was no traffic on the Tomei highway today, which was unusual, so it took me an hour and a half to get here from my house.

Unmi Onsen Beach, footbath on the shore
After this, I was going to go out to Nishi-Izu and head north, so I took Route 136 toward Unmi Onsen.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but it was quite refreshing to gaze out at the ocean.
I have a feeling that I will be stopping by this footbath as a resting point when touring Nishi-Izu in the future.
In addition, I forgot to bring my swimsuit for the Akaihama open-air bath (mixed bathing) today, so I didn't go. Last time I went in completely naked, but at this time of year, there's a big possibility that there are bathers in the area....... I thought, "Why not?

Continuing northward through Nishi-Izu. The weather was getting a little better, so I took some pictures. 883 is a very picturesque bike.
This is also a place I've stopped by a few times to take pictures of my Ninja 400.
As I was blowing in the wind, I realized that I was still feeling hungry. It had only been an hour or so since I had eaten at Yumigahama, but .....

I ate two lunches and was finally satisfied.
It was a little past 3:00 p.m. when I had dinner and left the restaurant. I was thinking that I could return the 883 in Tokyo by 7:30 p.m. today, so I would go up north to Nishi-Izu and take the Nishi-Izu Skyline course from Doi to Izu Skyline ...... But when I searched the car navigation system, I found that the traffic jam at the Izu exit and Tomei started, and the estimated time of arrival is already 19:30, the time of return.......
Even though you can save a lot of time by slipping through the traffic on the Tomei, if you don't take the shortest route home, you might get charged an extra fee (quite expensive)..... So, from Shuzenji, I took the same route as the outward trip and went home quietly.

Returned safely. Today's mileage is about 400km.
