The booth is spacious.
As expected from the leader of the domestic motorcycle industry. As a manufacturer of not only motorcycles but also automobiles, the booth is the largest in the world.
The first thing I noticed when I started wandering around was this.
Rebel 250 Custom
The first generation was released when I was a kid and my classmates and I used to take turns buying "Motorcycle Monthly" every month."Honda Reveal"This is still the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word.
This is a very affordable bike, with an MSRP of less than 500,000 yen for the 250 model (without ABS). I've been wanting to try one of these bikes since they were first announced, but they don't seem to be available for rent.
This custom is chic and looks like a nice city cruiser.
There were also production models such as the CB SF/SB and the CBR250RR, but since this was a motor show, I didn't go through the bikes that you can normally see at a dealership.
This is the only one I've tried to straddle.
AFRICA Twin
I don't think I'm much of a ballerina. I don't think I can ride with my feet......
Super Cub
And a little further into the booth, there was a Super Cub Festival going on.
Cumulative production of 100 million units exceededThis is a milestone in Japan's world-renowned motorcycle history.
And this one is said to be a commemorative vehicle for the 100 millionth vehicle.
Actually, "I think I'll buy one for a little ride...... You can buy a used Super Cub for about 50,000 yen, right? I've been looking at the market for a while now, and I've given up on buying one.
This is such a Super Cub, but I heard that it is a full model change...... By the way, this vehicle hasSuperCub C125It had a plate that said .... Cast wheels, disc brakes, and LED headlights are pretty cool.
Also, a customer who came to my bike shop the other day was riding a very cool Cross Cub. Is this a new model, too?
monkey
This is the next one. The 125cc version of the Monkey (50cc), which was discontinued recently, has been unveiled. I heard that production has not been decided yet, though.
By the way, I heard that the total production of Monkey is about 660,000 units, but I rarely see it running.....
This is another one I'd like to ride a bit.
And many other bikes.
Now, the best part of the motor show is that"A vehicle that can only be seen here."They are.
First up is this one, a super naked with the engine of the CBR1000RR.
Neo Sports Café Concept
I heard that a commercial version will be available by the end of this year.
Next up, a six-cylinder grand tourer.
New GOLDWING
I have no interest in owning one, as it is 100% a hobby vehicle only, but it is one I would like to ride once. The current model is also available as a rental bike, so I'm thinking that someday... I'd like to own one.
And the first wave of EVs for domestic motorcycles. An electric scooter is scheduled to go on the market next year.
PCX ELECTRIC & PCX HYBRID
The vehicle in the photo is an ELECTRIC one. It's a fully electric bike. I forgot to take a picture, but there was also a HYBRID next to it.
Just like cars, motorcycles will probably be converted to EVs in the near future, but since I ride a motorcycle for the thrill of the engine, I want to keep it to hybrids at the very least.
So I ran over to the Honda booth to check it out.
