A work van?
Previous oil changeLess than a month has passed since.
This month, I haven't gone touring even once because of my personal and work commitments only on weekends when the weather is good.....
However, I was on my way to work.I went to the outlet at Komine headquarters. As a result, I have been able to include motorcycle events in my work trips, such as a round trip around Tokyo Bay to visit a customer in Chiba, and a year-end party in Asakusa where I ate Indian food with my right hand......
After all, I've still got 900km to go this month.
I want to go to the hot spring touring with a great view..... Let's ride properly during the year-end and New Year holidays!.....
Lever wraps to reinforce cold protection
So this month I'm mainly traveling around Tokyo. It's been cold due to the La Niña phenomenon, but I'm well-equipped for the cold, so I'm comfortable moving around..... Except for one place......
Gloves, the other day.The grip heater thing I found at Rough and Road.I replaced it with
The back of my hand is now more warm, but the palm of my hand is thinner.Fingers on the lever are cold.....
I've gotten into the habit of riding with two fingers on both the clutch and brake side like this, especially at night on the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, where the cold lever locally cools the first joint of my index and middle fingers.
I have to do something about this...... So, on my way home from work, I dropped by the 2Rinkan in Mizonokuchi as usual.....
I bought a lever wrap. It is said to be a product to improve lever operation and prevent slippage, but it is also rumored to be quite effective in preventing cold.
I put it on immediately. It's supposed to be installed by dipping it in soapy water and sliding it on, but it was pretty tight: ..... I had to tear off a little bit of the rubber on the brake lever side.......
Personally, I think the lever operation and touch would be better without this, but it does provide a certain amount of thermal protection. This is recommended for riders who have a grip heater but don't want to wear a handlebar cover. It also hides the cheapness of the standard levers and gives you a dress-up look.
Second generation seat bag
This week's work trip was also marked by a tragedy: the bagster seat bag that I had been wearing from the time I took delivery of my Ninja 400 until now, when I've switched to the Ninja 650......
The zipper's broken......I've been feeling a little reluctant to use it for a while now, so I sprayed it with silicone spray and tried to fake it....... I can't use this anymore.
Fortunately, I had a touring net with me, so I was able to get around in this style for the time being.....
As you can imagine, it's inconvenient and uncool, so as usual, I poked around on Amazon with my smartphone while on the road.
Without even considering other types, I repurchased the exact same one w I have already received it in my room.
It's a beautiful Saturday......
And even on the Christmas weekend, a sunny Saturday, I went out on personal business.
I was invited to a Ken Hirai concert by a girl who has a ticket but no one to go with.
The venue is Yokohama Arena, which is 20 minutes away from my house, but I was worried about parking, so I didn't go out on my bike.....
Mu~. Touring ..... I want to.......
