The release date and price of the new Ninja 400 has been leaked.
I've read on various sites that the Japanese model will be announced this month and go on sale in February of this year. New Ninja 400 (and its 250 sibling)
No more bar handlebars and multi-functional gauges, making it feel more like a sibling of the new Ninja 1000 and the new Ninja 650.
I was expecting a scaled down version of the 650 engine like the Ninja 400R/400, but I was a little surprised to see a souped up version of the 250. I guess it is the right choice for the cost. Unlike in the past, you can get a big bike at a driving school these days.
Watch the official PV. Younger generation shift.
No, actually, after watching the official video of the new Ninja 400, I had a few thoughts.
By the way, this isCurrent Ninja 400 released in 2014the PV.
A (probably) male rider in touring wear who sometimes rides a little sporty and sometimes trots along the scenic winding roads.
And here it is.New Ninja 400 to be announced and launched soonthe PV.>
Two World Superbike champions hang off on a motorcycle they brought to the circuit wearing leather tunics.
Oh, I see. Is that marketing in that direction: ..... Yes, that's right. We need to attract the younger generation, don't we?
Is the tourer Ninja only for the 1000?
By the way, the official video for the Ninja 1000 and 650 shows adult riders, both old and new, enjoying sport riding in nature: .... This is what it looks like.
However, the new Ninja 650, even at a quick glance, has been stripped of the tourer elements of the current Ninja 650. I rushed to find one right after the new model came out, andI bought a new 650, the exact same shape as the Ninja 400 I was riding at the time. That's why I did it.....
Of course, I'm not talking about which one is better or worse, but simply which one you prefer.
I've also ridden various rental bikes as a comparison for the purchase of a larger bike, and I think I've put a few thousand kilometers on the liter class tourer alone, but my preference is for a middle class sports tourer that has a comfortable position and can rev the engine on a winding road.
One of the reasons I decided not to buy the Ninja 1000 I was about to buy was because "there's no place to rev the engine on this one ....". That's it.
.....However, the middle class sports tourer category is probably no longer in vogue...... All the manufacturers are shifting their mid-size tourers to adventure models...... I'll be riding the Ninja 650 for a long time!
So, tomorrow I'm going to skip work and replace the front and rear suspension with OHLINS.
