It's been 17 years since my return, and even before my return, I've only driven about 10 cars, so I don't have a lot of experience with this car to give you an impression.A motorcycle with absolutely no complaints for me.I can recommend it. I can recommend it.
When I returned to Japan, I happened to ride my first rental bike, a Ninja 400.
The day I decided to borrow it...The only 400 available was a Ninja. This is the first time I've done this.
I was drawn to the styling and ride of the bike like a newborn chick to a parent, and was completely unimpressed with the CB400SF and DSC4 that I borrowed later.
- One of the few full-cowl tourers among the current domestic midsize models
- From someone who doesn't know much about motorcycles."serious person"This is an aggressive style that can only be seen in
- Kamen Rider-like coolness. The popularity among children at convenience stores and roadside station/SA/PA parking lots is quite high.
- But the bar handlebars make it easier to ride. Even though I'm in my 40's, I can ride for 10 hours a day without getting tired from the position.
- Beautiful details(If you look closely, you can see some cost reductions.)
- Offset rear suspension
- Especially on the right side, the straight lines created by the main frame cover, rear suspension, swing arm, and muffler form a triangle.
- (SE model only.)Gold Ninja logo stickers are not decals, but 3D parts.(You can buy them as parts from here.)
- Engine characteristics that are full of heartbeat and super easy to ride
- The parallel twin is sometimes derided as having the sound of a tiller, but it has a unique pulse that is very pleasant and not found in four-cylinder engines.
- The muffler, which is located under the body of the vehicle, just below the rider, sounds good to the rider's ears while riding, while the engine noise is not annoying even in residential areas.
- Even at idle, on level ground, just connect the clutch and you're off and running with rich low-speed torque.
- I think this is due in large part to the evolution of tires, but in the past it was unthinkable that I could corner with such stability and without fear."reasonably"I enjoy it. And the medium-sized SS is wiped out.
- It may not be enough for some people, but if you open the gas pedal with a bang, nothing will happen."Horsepower you can handle."
- Even so, the acceleration from over 7000 rpm is"Do you really need more than this on a regular road?"That's the feeling.
- Large chassis shared with the Ninja 600
- Almost 100% from those who can't judge size by displacement."That big bike."The size of the car body is said to be
- In addition, the slim, ride-positioned bodywork provides a perfect knee grip position when ridden normally.
- At 177cm/74kg, I'm tall for my age (but short-legged), so the CB400SF/SB was a little too small and cramped for me.
- However, there is a high degree of freedom in the position, and there are some women around 160cm who ride with lowered suspension.
- It's so easy to use, you won't be bothered at all if you want to go for a quick run around the neighborhood. I can't wait to go for a run around the neighborhood.
- Reasonable price compared to competing models
- The Ninja 400 is 100,000 cheaper than the CB400SF and 150,000 cheaper than the SB, so you can get all the equipment you need for the difference.
Oh, and in case you're wondering about me.
If this is a problem for you, I don't recommend it.
- The finishing of the details still reminds me of something made in Thailand. Especially the rim part of the tank cover is the part that can't be done afterwards, so I wanted it to be done more beautifully. Well, compared to CB400SB, the price is more than 100,000 yen......
- At 5,200 rpm on a 100 km highway cruise, you'll frequently be looking for the phantom 7th gear.......
- (Replacing the exhaust with a full exhaust would be a good solution.) The standard exhaust pipe is a bit too textured looking for .....
Oh, I only have these three.
I think the lack of aftermarket parts can be solved by using parts from the Ninja 650. If you look at overseas sites, you can find a lot of different parts.
There are not many muffler options, but this is not a disadvantage for me as I like the stock shape.
