I was able to get on the Kan-etsu highway smoothly without getting caught in the traffic jam at Kanpachi. Normally, I ride a full cowl tourer, so the wind on my shins was refreshing, and I was enjoying the comfort of the St-Fi naked bike. But by the time I took my first break at Arashiyama PA, I felt like my ass was going to crack... Well, the seat on my Ninja 650 is one of the best seats I've ever ridden, and I've ridden over 30 different bikes, so I shouldn't compare it to that....
If you're going to use it as a tourer, you'll have to add gelzabs or something to this thin sheet.
I took a bath in the middle of the day.
So I headed for Kusatsu Onsen. I refueled at a gas station at the entrance of the hot spring resort....
We plunged into the hot spring town and arrived at our first destination.
It's been a while since I've been to a hot spring. After all, we didn't stop at any onsen during our summer vacation touring in Tohoku... So, Otakinoyu. The parking lot is spacious and there is a tatami room where you can take a rest, so I usually go here when I come to Kusatsu. I also like the Nishi-no-kawara open-air baths, but there's no place to take a break after bathing there. If you use the pavilion in the park or the parking lot, you might get bitten by insects depending on the season....
After taking a bath, I lingered in the sitting room, drinking coffee and milk...
I was getting hungry, so I ate some soba noodles and boiled motsu, and resumed my run.
My impressions of the Z1000.
I would really like to take the Shiga-Kusatsu Kogen route, but as you know, it is currently closed due to volcanic activity. But as you know, the road is currently closed due to volcanic activity. Shiriyaki Onsen... But I've just taken a bath... So we took a different road (R406 to Prefectural Road 238) from the outward route (R353, R145 to R292) to the Kanetsu area.

Basically.When I rented a car before and rode around a bit.I feel the same way. But...The horsepower of 141PS/10,000rpm with a torque of 11.3kgf-m/7,300rpm without torque converter is still too much for me.If you get used to riding with this thing, it will be very dangerous if you let off the gas pedal or something, and no matter how many licenses you have, it won't be enough on public roads.
A big part of my enjoyment of riding bikes is to twist and turn on mountain passes while revving the engine to a certain degree, but this machine can't do that. To be honest, I don't have the confidence or the skills to keep the self-control to ride this class of machine on public roads.
I think it's just right to rent a movie every now and then and enjoy it without hesitation... I think it's best to just rent it once in a while.

Naturally, traffic on the Kan-etsu uplink in the evening on weekends is a must... So I decided to turn towards Tokyo while it was still light.

Fortunately, the large-displacement, high-torque, liquid-cooled four-cylinder car is capable of smooth acceleration and deceleration with just a little effort on the wrist, so I was able to drive through a lot of traffic and avoid a lot of stress. We arrived at 2Rinkan with plenty of time to return the car.
