I've heard that.
February 11, 2017 memorial
I thought that the domestic version would be announced next week, right? So I asked at the Kawasaki Plaza. It looks like it's a little behind schedule, but it will be announced by the end of the month, and although there will be no pre-orders, test rides will be available next month at the latest. ...... That's what they said.
I heard that it was mistakenly released early on the website of Kawasaki in Portugal.
Well, it was announced on September 30.The 2017 model of the Z1000was only a small change."Oh, it's a minor change, isn't it?"I thought it was a good idea......
Yeah, I know. At a quick glance, I can only tell the difference between the side cowl and the blinkers.
By the way, this is the current model.
By the way, the changes for the Z1000 2017 model are at.....

This seems to be the main thing.
So what are the changes for the NInja 1000 2017 model year? .....
Wheelbase: 1445mm to 1440mm
Minimum ground clearance: From 135mm to 130mm
Seat height: from 820mm to 815mm
Weight: From 231kg to 235kg
So, the dimensions are almost the same. It may be due to suspension changes and electronic equipment. I guess the details will be revealed at tomorrow's INTERMOT.....
I want the analog tachometer and digital speedometer to be inherited (eagerly awaited).
Hmm? So will the rumored mid-engine supercharged model (Ninja R2) be the highlight of this fall? Maybe.
[October 4, 2016 Posthumously]It was officially announced.
Also on the Kawasaki Motorcycle & Engine Company websiteProduct page updatedIt's been done.
The changes that were leaked as of yesterday are as follows
Adoption of LED headlamps with constant illumination of both eyes
Seats with enhanced comfort
Inherited analog tachometer
Equipped with KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function)
Vehicle body control using Bosch IMU (inertial measurement unit)
Wheelie control is added to KTRC (traction control).
Evolution of ABS. Pitching control and control while turning are added.
Yeah. It's not good. I guess the weight increase is mostly related to the electronic control. This one seems to be a less risky machine than the current one. I have a feeling I won't be able to resist the urge once I test drive it........
October 13 note: A prototype of the domestic model will be on display at Kawasaki World in Kobe, which reopens tomorrow.
Along with the Ninja 1000, they also have the new Ninja 650 on display. The meter is also said to have an ETC indicator..... I'm getting excited.
December 15 note: I spoke with Kawasaki Plaza Tokyo.
New Ninja 1000 to go on sale in March or April 2017, price yet to be announced, but ETC will be installedI've heard that. ”I'm going to test drive it, but I'm basically going to buy it." I told him (laughs).
