Recently."Ninja 400 and old Ninja 650 replacement concept"But the fact remains that I want a large sports tourer that can handle long distances. Well.Ninja 650 is just for test ride.I've never used it for touring, so it's possible that it's just for long distances.......
The other day, I saw the Ninja 1000.Touring in Fukushima for about 700km with the new modelLast year, I went toTouring 460km in an older 2015 modelI do.
However, I don't like the negative aspects of the new model and I prefer the style of the old model, so I'm currently using the new 2018 orWaiting for the Special Edition, which I think will be released at the Tokyo Motor Show.It is.
So.Reserve a rental of a 2016 model with assist and slipper clutch that you can still buy undriven stock if you look for it.I did.
Huh? Is that it?
I was going to have dinner with a friend in the evening, so I called and moved up the date and time of the rental. I went to the store. And here's what was lent out.
I'm already working on a sense of discomfort from the moment I take a glance. That's an early model from before 2013!
"Well, I booked it for a 2016 model?" I said to the staff, who checked the vehicle inspection certificate and said, "It's a 2016 model." .......
The minor differences areKawasaki's official websiteでIn addition, there is a big difference in functionality between the models before 2013 and the following year, but they also look quite different. Before that, ......
This is a parallel thing, isn't it?
The side reflectors here are a sign of North American spec. I'm used to seeing the older Ninja 650s in parallel import stock these days.
So, what was it all about in the end?"A vehicle registered in 2016 that was a parallel import of a 2013 model that was in stock somewhere else."That's what it means. Here.
Well, there's nothing I can do about it, because this is the only 2016 model that's available in the store. Let's just think of it as a way to increase our experience with big bikes, and just live with it for now. Maybe..."Early model, yeah!"Let's rent the 2016 model at another store........
borrow
So, I borrowed it out without any particular objection. It merges into the road in front of you from the store.........I thought the front end was going to cut in at a dangerous level, and I thought I was going to lose my footing.
I had an appointment, so I went straight to Ebisu. I parked in the parking lot and checked the car again. By the way, the Yebisu Garden Place North Gate Bicycle Parking Lot is free for two hours for motorcycles and 300 yen for eight hours after that, but it's pretty empty, so I highly recommend it.
When I saw the front tire at the store, it looked a little bad. It's a tire that's finished with only 2~3mm to the slip sign..... I thought. (The photo was taken today.)
It's hard to tell from the picture, but the middle part is extremely reduced. The cross section is already"trapezoid"I'd be forgiven for saying that. There is no roundness.
If you press it with your hand, you can seeI don't feel like I have enough air pressure..........
"Ah~, what the heck ...." I think, but I've got to get back on track.
This is the first of a number of salad cafes that have opened in Tokyo in recent years.CRISP SALAD WORKSEbisu branch. Over three hours of chatting over salad and lemonade with girls and guys I used to work with.
Both of them were working for foreign financial institutions at the time, and as I had graduated from a salaried job to become the president of a small company, it had been a long time since I had enjoyed a fresh, conscious talk with them before going home.
go out (e.g. on an excursion or outing)
I was going to check the air pressure on the way home the day before, but the bike stores were already closed. I didn't have the L-shaped adapter for the gas station because I left it at 2Rinkan with my Ninja 400.
I was going to ride about 500km today, but I just didn't feel like it. "Since I rented it, let's go to Hakone for now....." And so I started running. But the tires were still bothering me. The time was still before nine o'clock, so there were no bike stores open, and I carefully drove down the road for a while, hoping to find a suitable bike shop to put air in at ten o'clock, but it was a sunny day on a weekend when the rainy season was declared, so 246 was pretty crowded.
I'm going to check the air pressure at Ebina SA on the Tomei highway. If I increase the air pressure, it might alleviate this front wheel cut! So I took the Tomei from Aoba, Yokohama. So I got on the Tomei from Yokohama-Aoba, and immediately slipped into Ebina SA.
(of a guest, customer, etc.) to leave
And then, at a gas station in Ebina SA, I got stuck for the third time in my life (crying).
I couldn't find the air tank, so I rode the bike to the back of the stand and tried to make a U-turn on a slight incline and slammed the door.
Downhill slope. Ninja 1000 lays on the asphalt, unable to hold the front end as it cuts in hard at low speed....... Well, my left mirror is broken: .......
It's my fault for not being careful enough.
It's not even 10:00 at this point....... We have no choice but to go home....... I got off the Tomei at the Ebina interchange on the Ken-O Expressway and took the 246 back. I was too scared to change lanes because I didn't have a left mirror, so I quickly turned around and looked at the road.......
Paid just under 6,000 yen for the mirror parts and called it a day! Dismissed!
