YAMAHA's booth was just as big as Honda's. They had a stage for demonstrations like this. They also had a stage where they were demonstrating the following.
It's hard to see because of the backlighting, but it's a demonstration of an independent and self-driving electric motorcycle. By the way, I thought Honda had a self-driving bike, but I seem to have missed it.
In a corner of the same stage was MOTOBOT2.
The one shown in this video is Version 1, and the one on display here is Version 2.
NIKEN
It's the production version of the MWT-9 that was unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Unlike a trike, this tricycle can be properly tilted to ride.
Overflowing from the front."Mobile armor feeling"The name of the car could have been Glavro or Zacchrero: .... (I'm not sure.)
If this thing came from behind me, I'd give way.
It has been announced that it will be released for developed countries in 2018, so I'm looking forward to the day when I can ride this one as a rental bike. When I get a little older, this type of bike might be safer for me to ride.
In addition to the price of the vehicle, maintenance costs are likely to be quite high.
XSR700
Of all the YAMAHA bikes on display this time, this was the one I wanted to see, but it was just sitting there in front of the stage with no signage to indicate the name of the bike. I couldn't tell that it was an XSR700 until I saw the number of exhaust pipes.
I rented a car.XSR900とMT-07I was looking forward to seeing it because I had a very good impression.
At a glance, you can distinguish the XSR700 with upright forks from the XSR900 with inverted forks. The overall shape is almost the same as the XSR900.
However, the position of the key cylinder is the same as that of the MT series."stab-in-the-brain type"
I don't like this one...... You can wear a small meter visor or something like that......
Star Venture
air coolingYamaha's flagship cruiser with a V-twin 1,854cc engine
While Honda's Goldwing is a water-cooled, horizontally opposed six-cylinder bike, this is YAMAHA's answer. As a traveling bike, the V-twin seems to be more fun.
I was able to straddle the display car, so I sat on the seat for a bit...... This is the one that I think"Motorcycle"You're way beyond the realm.
The price is probably enough to buy a small convertible, and if I'm going to buy this, I might as well get a FIAT ABARTH 124 spider (on four wheels) now.
This is what the YAMAHA booth looked like. There were also bicycles and four-wheeled concept cars, but I didn't have time to visit them.
