This is a Japanese sports star. And it's well made.
When I was riding it, I thought. Oh, it would be a difficult choice between this and the Harley-Davidson 883........ I thought.
The BOLT, which drives well and turns well and stops well, or the 883, which is a cut above in terms of mechanical quality but offers the brand name and the thumping feel of an OHV engine..........
This kind of bike is probably fun to customize and there are plenty of parts to make it look the way you want it to. Compared to the 883N IRON, the BOLT R looks a little plain when it's hanging, but if you look closely, you'll see that the details are very intricate. Replace the tank with an aluminum one: .... This is the first time I've done this. Well, I didn't even take any pictures this time......
Lovely place.
- The seats are so nice.
I guess it was the best match for my ass shape, but this was the most comfortable seat I've ever ridden.
- Higher basic performance (compared to 883)
Unlike the 883, which scrapes the bank sensor when you make a slight turn, the American can turn with ease. The engine also has a thumping feel to it, but it's still very refined and feels like you're riding a good machine.
- Light clutch and nice shifting
The clutch is as light as a Ninja 400. The clutch is as light as a Ninja 400, and stop-and-go is no bother at all. Shifting is also a breeze.
- It's nice to trot along.
It felt good to drive at 50km/h in 3rd gear, 65km/h in 4th gear, and 80km/h in 5th gear. On the way down the road, I was driving in 2nd and 3rd gear while admiring the scenery. When I'm riding this bike, I don't feel like slipping past and trying to get in front .... I don't feel like slipping through and getting in front.
Hmm? What is it?
Well, there are only about two or three. It really is a well made bike.
- Torque at startup (compared to 883)
Unlike the 883, which starts off with a thump just by releasing the clutch, there is not that much torque when starting off. If you don't turn the gas pedal a little bit from the half-clutch, you might stall the engine even on level ground. I'm sure you can find a way to get it to the top, but I'm not going to use it.
- Position
Here.When I rode Harley-Davidson's Forty-EightI also felt that my height (177cm) was a little short of the expected height of the rider. I have long arms, but even so, when I keep a relaxed riding posture, my arms are stretched out when I turn the handlebars a little.
- It's hot, air-cooled V-twin.
It has a nice guard part to prevent your foot from touching the engine directly........ I don't want to ride it in the middle of summer in Tokyo.

American is a totally different kind of vehicle than naked or sports tourer..... I'm sure you'll agree.
I would choose BOLT if I can only have one, or 883N if I have two. If it were me.
