Rental Day Edition
I hadn't been able to ride my bike due to weather breakdowns on weekends and urgent work commitments at the end of the fiscal year, but I had booked a rental for this one, thinking that as long as I made it past March, I would be fine.
YAMAHA XSR900. lost my virginity to assist and slipper clutch.
As usual, I received it the night before, and first walked a few kilometers to my house to get the first feel of it. My first impression was"Sounds soooo good! And the engine pulse sounds good too!"It's called.

It's the perfect combination of a two-cylinder heartbeat and the smoothness of a four-cylinder.
Right after I borrowed the car, I started driving in STD mode, but when I got to Nakahara Kaido, I switched to A mode. It's so much fun to open and close the gas pedal!
I checked the tires at the convenience store where we stopped along the way, and found that the tires were well used all the way to the edge. Rental bikes are usually ridden for a short period of time by people who are not familiar with the type of bike, so the tires are usually worn down in the middle......Looking forward to touring tomorrow!
The Next Day .......
I started working for a bit and got carried away, and before I knew it, I was at .... in the morning. I was in a hurry to take a nap, butWake up time is 12:30 a.m. .........
I hurriedly changed my clothes and started to run, but at this time of night, Hakone was the best I could do...... Anyway, I got on the Tomei Line, but the traffic jam on the Tomei Line was caused by an accident, and the traffic jam in Odashi was 17km long...... I went to Hiratsuka PA to think about the route to take after this: .... We took the wrong exit and wandered around on the open road. 200km of walking touring......
Here are some notes on my impressions. As usual, this is the ramblings of an amateur.

As mentioned above, the engine is super fun. The sound is wonderful.

By the way, I'm 177cm tall (but with short legs) and my feet touch the ground more than halfway on both feet. The car body is also light, so there is hardly any problem.

- Newly designed 3-cylinder crossplane engine. Its feel, response, and sound.
The 110 horsepower is easy to use, the torque and power is fun to drive in STD mode, and the response in A mode is interesting when you want to change things up a bit.I just want to put this engine in my Ninja 400: .....
Personally, I don't like external mufflers that make a lot of noise, and I don't like to be friends with people who have mufflers that don't pass vehicle inspection."I need to hear more exhaust notes!"and more at ......
- Design
The design is retro and modern and cool, with even a customized model-like atmosphere. If you get up close and take a closer look, you can feel some cost constraints, but it's no use saying that.
The meter is also a circular LCD with an old-fashioned design. I'm not a big fan of full-digital meters, and I wish tachometers were analog, but I didn't feel uncomfortable with this form of display on the circumference.The tail lights and rear fender area are also cool and cute.
- Easy to ride. It's fun to ride.
It takes a while to get used to riding a motorcycle for the first time, but this one was an exception and I felt like I could ride it right away. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the mountain passes, so I only rode it on a relaxing winding road in the suburban mountains, but it was still fun to ride. The balance between the power, suspension, and overall body is good. The motorcycle is made up of many different parts, but it has a uniquefeeling of a massI felt.
- Lightness is justice
It weighs 195 kg including gasoline, and is easy to handle and back up while straddling. When we entered a narrow farm road, we came across a dirt road, but we were able to ride through it without any worries.

It's my favorite naked bike I've ever ridden! But .......
I think it's a super high quality hobby vehicle. I've rented & test ridden many large vehicles."I want it!"There are only a few bikes that I've thought of as "the best of the best", but this is one of them.
It just doesn't seem to be suitable for touring.........
Motorcycles are fun to ride, but what about riding around on them while enjoying the scenery? I wonder if it's possible to do that in B mode. Is it possible to do that in B mode, which I didn't try this time? In any case, the slim rear seat seems to be difficult to carry a seat bag, and there are not many hooks for cargo...... Or rather, almost none at all: ...... The naked style is nice, but for highway riding, I'd still like a fairing: ......
In other words........ YAMAHA should release the MT-09 FAZER! That's my concluding request.
