Wake up at 5:30 a.m.
The second rain-free weekend in a row. I had a bit of work on Saturday, but I'm free on Sunday. Yesterday was the 11th of November. I went to bed early because it was Pocky Day (mystery).
And I woke up at 5:30 a.m.! We made it! This will get us far!
I thought I was going to have a good night's sleep, but I'm feeling kind of weird...... I was so excited that I fell asleep on the hot carpet, but our hot carpet turns off automatically after about three hours......Or your body is cold......
So I took a bath in the morning to warm myself up, but I had a bad feeling about my health....
Oh, I didn't get to go out right away today in the first place.......
Napoleon mirrors are pretty loose (for the second time)
On Saturday, I washed my car for the first time in a long time at the self-service car wash corner of Mizonokuchi 2Rinkan, and on my way back home, I saw thisIt came loose last time and I had to retighten it.The mirror on the opposite side was found to be rattling......
It's not the part that came loose last time, but the mounting base itself is rattling..... I thought it was strange, so I checked the other side of the bolt circled in yellow. The nut on the inside of the cowl has fallen off and is missing.......
By the time I realized it, it was already late in the day, so I just dropped by the home center and bought some nuts.
So, this morning. If I go touring with the base rattling, the other nut may also fall off due to vibration. If that happens, the mirror will fall on the road while driving, so I had to fix it before I could go touring today......
Then, I went to the parking lot. Removing the cowl was a hassle, so I loosened the meter cover and stuck my hand in through the gap.
As it was, my fingertips could barely reach the bolts, so I extended them with the tool at hand. I also applied a lot of thread sealant.
I also installed the Heatech direct bac wiring. Now I'm ready for electric heating wear.
Come on, winter!
I'm going to go out on my bike, though.
After finishing the work, I went back to my room and lay down to sleep..... Hmmm, my health seems to be improving....... I'm also getting hungry.......
Then I found myself driving on the Chuo Expressway and eating duck and tempura in Akiruno City.
Just yesterday, I was reading this blog post. Come to think of it, about 10 years ago, I went out to a point where I could play in the water at Kakitagawa Spring after reading her blog post.....
IncidentallyI went to Monet's Pond in May.
As the blog post says, a very good soba restaurant. Especially the vegetable tempura is the best cost performance. You can park two motorcycles in front of the store, although it is awkward to use the car space in the parking lot because cars with local plates come in and out.
After we finished eating, we went to the pond at the shrine, which was also mentioned in the blog, to soak up the sun.
Take a break.leaves changing color (colour)Let's go look for....
Autumn leaves in Akigawa Valley
It was a beautiful weekend, but the roads were not too crowded, and we were in the Akigawa Valley in less than half an hour.
It looks like the leaves are changing along the river, but not so much along the road. The places where we could stop well were not so colorful.
We continued on for a few kilometers to Hinohara Village. From the Hozawa Falls onward, there were hardly any tourist cars passing through, but I didn't mind and continued on......
Autumn leaves!
There was another good point a little further back.
Take a footbath and go home.
Now that I've enjoyed the autumn leaves."Akigawa Valley Footbath"We went to a day trip hot spring facility that we found by Googling "hot spring".
There was a huge traffic jam at the entrance of the parking lot, but the bikes didn't mind and slid through the side of the road to the front, where they directed us to a parking space for motorcycles. I parked my bike and a few dozen meters away was....
Autumn leaves and footbaths!
Due to the structure, if you sit on the front side, you can't enjoy the autumn leaves while taking a footbath, but the temperature was just right. The temperature was just right, and although it was crowded, it was a nice place to take a break.
I think I rode less than 120km home today...... It's a good idea to do a little touring like this once in a while.
