I'm going to go reinforce the front brakes. I'll also do a 12 month inspection.
I've been thinking about it since about the end of last year.Strengthen the front brakes.
I'm not dissatisfied with the braking power itself, but compared to some of the high-end large cars that I've rented, the feeling is a bit poor. In particular, I felt that the controllability was not so good.
After much deliberation, I decided to play with it a bit, and the parts actually arrived at the store in early February: .... But this year, I had a lot of work to do at the end of the year, so I left it until today... I felt bad for the store, so I went to install the parts today for the 12 month inspection. I arrived at 10:30 a.m. and left the bike with them.
So I decided to wait at the store until the work was done.
The odometer on the Ninja 650 didn't grow as much as I thought it would, even though I've ridden nearly 20,000 kilometers a year since the bike was delivered.
So, we wait for the work to be completed.
We were told that it would take several hours to get there, so we went to a convenience store to withdraw some money after learning the approximate cost. We went for a walk, admiring the hydrangeas along the roadside.
When we returned to the store, we took a look at the models in stock. This is the one in front of the store entrance....
2011 Ninja 400R is new.
It's a seven-year-old stock bike. Even the successor, the Ninja 400, has already undergone a model change, so this is a two-generation model. I didn't ask about the price, but it's probably a very special price since even the regular price of a new bike here is much cheaper than other stores. I want to buy my current Ninja 400R new again! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.Sodegaura HondaPlease contact us.
And more.
Looking at turnips and cross-cubs.....
I also discovered that the new Ninja 1000 in black has red rear suspension springs....
I was reminded that the new Ninja 650 is too small....
I also spent some time looking at the GSX-S1000&S1000F, Hayabusa, CB250R, SV650, MT-10, GSX-R1000, etc. in the store, and talked with the store staff about how much I wanted a StoFy.
By the way, when I told the store that I had a choice between GSX-S750 and 1000, they recommended CB1000R very much and said "You should ride it once. He said.
So we waited for a little over three hours.....
Radial Master & Stainless Mesh Brake Hoses
The parts are now installed.
The front brakes were converted to DAYTONA Nissin radial master cylinders, and the brake hoses were changed to stainless mesh brake hoses. We did not go as far as replacing the calipers this time.
The color of the brake hose is black. The master cylinder was also available in black or gold, but I chose black. Only the fitting parts such as the banjo were made of aluminum and colored red/blue.
Without waiting for the inspection to be completed, we rushed home.
After the parts installation, I had the 12 month inspection done, but I had to go home and have a work related video conference. I asked the staff to check the plugs and air cleaner, wash the car, and clean and lubricate the chain and sprocket.
He said, "Oh, well, I'm going to change the air filter, so I'll order it now, and then you can continue when the parts arrive..." I asked him to finish the work in the middle of the day.
So, I had the store do a test run to check it out.
I hurried back to my house across the Aqua-Line.
After rushing home and finishing the video conference, I went down to the parking lot again and looked at the car for a while.
The brake lever is now black along with the master cylinder, but the clutch lever is still silver. I'll have to replace this one soon.
And the touch of the brake........I still don't know much about it because I just took the Metropolitan Expressway to the Daisan Keihin and came back and drove around the city a bit.
However, I was under the impression that the brakes could be adjusted in about six different ways, whereas the conventional brakes had only four levels: slight, weak, medium, and strong.
The grip doesn't feel so firm, but maybe it's because of the brake fluid bleeding, and I'm hoping that it will feel a little more firm after tomorrow. I'm hoping that it will be a little crisper tomorrow. The biggest surprise of the day was that the Ninja 650 I picked up at the store was running super smooth.
We didn't have much time, so we had to stop in the middle of the inspection, but we had already started cleaning the sprocket and chain, and I guess it was because we had greased up all the parts during the 12 month inspection. I felt that the resistance of each part of the bike was so good that I felt like, "This will improve the fuel efficiency, right? The resistance of each part of the bike was reduced to the point where I felt like, "This is going to improve my fuel efficiency. It made me realize how much I've been neglecting my normal maintenance... I realized how much I've been neglecting maintenance....orz
It looks like we won't have to worry about rain again this weekend on Sunday, so I'd like to go for a run somewhere to test the kune kune .... I think it's been a while since I've been to Gunma.
