”Hmmm. I succeeded in getting up early today. But it won't be a problem if I sleep for just five more minutes."
7:00 a.m. The alarm woke me up again.
”Hmmm. I'm still up early enough. If that's the case, it won't be a problem to sleep for another five minutes."
...Wake up at 9:00 a.m. ”I overslept."
So we got back on the road, took our time getting ready, and set off around 9:45. Today we were going to Kusatsu Onsen (hot spring), which was on the Touring Maple that I bought the other day. ”It is said to be at the end of Lake Notan."Digging in the riverbed will bring forth hot springs."a place called" I'm going to try to go to
So what's the touring plan for the Tokyo metropolitan area?"Kan-etsu, Joshinetsu, and Chuo highway courses"Right? So, I completed the application from the parking lot with my smartphone.
tortoise-shell bridge
It was a beautiful Sunday at the end of the rainy season. I was worried about the traffic jam between Kanpachi and Kanetsu because I overslept, but I was able to get on the highway smoothly. We made quick progress and took our first break at the usual Arashiyama PA.
And here I was thinking, "How much higher speed can I get?" I thought."Kan-etsu, Joshinetsu, and Chuo highway courses"If you look at the area of... ”Kan-etsu... Maebashi... And then......"
If you are going to Kusatsu, the interchange is Shibukawa-Ikaho IC, but... What a surprise, this year's touring plan is out of the area!...
If you have not signed up for a touring plan, you are on your way, but you can not afford to waste 4,000 yen, so you enter the Joshinetsu Expressway. And, while eating this in Yokogawa SA destination study.
It's the kettle rice of Yokogawa. And then it occurred to me, "Oh, I've never been there on a motorcycle!" So that's why....
To the Third Usui Bridge
Usui Daisan Bridge (Usui Daisan Kyoryo)
The Usui Daisan Bridge (Usui Dai-san Kyoryo) is a railroad bridge located in Sakamoto, Matsuida-cho, Annaka City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. It is commonly known as the "Megane Bridge".
This is a four-arch brick bridge over the Usui River, and is one of the most famous structures on the Usui Pass.
Construction began in 1891, and was completed in 1893.
And here we are again.
After this, we would normally head north to Kusatsu via Tsumakoi Village, but today we will return to the Joshinetsu Expressway to make the most of our touring plan.
It was hot and sunny at the end of the rainy season, so we took a soft-serve ice cream break at the Sakudaira PA.
By the way, you can take the escalator from this PA to the day spa facility outside the highway. I didn't go there today, but I'll write it down here as it might be useful to remember.
So, after this, we're going back on the Chuo and Tomei highways, right? So, this was the only destination I could think of.
The Venus Line again (after three weeks. For the second time this year.)
As expected, the wind was cool on the winding roads at an altitude of 1800 meters. The temperature in the vicinity of Karuizawa was over 30 degrees Celsius, but here it was chilly in the shade.
Now that the Shiga-Kusatsu Kogen route is closed, this is one of the best scenic routes you can take as a day trip.
one's way back
Well, it was already 16:00 at this point. I don't feel like running today, but I have some work to do, so let's head home. So we headed for the city center of Suwa.
The temperature rose as the altitude dropped, and it was scorching hot down there. Before getting on the highway, we went to the lakeside to cool off a bit....
We got onto the Chuo Expressway from Suwa Interchange without any trouble. As usual, there was a traffic jam at the Kobutsu Tunnel, but we were able to get through. We entered the Ken-O Expressway and had dinner at Atsugi PA.
Yokkaichi tonteki or Kakogawa katsumeshi... I put money into the ticket machine, but... But... both were sold out... There was a line of people behind me, so I pushed a button at random and made an unwilling choice.
Today's touring ended when we returned home. The distance traveled was about 400km. The course wasTouring course 3 weeks agoI felt like I was following the same path in reverse. It was not enough because of the many highways....
