Too hot, too hot, too hot to wash the car.
I haven't washed my car in a while, and I just did a 1,500km touring trip in Tohoku the other day. I wanted to wash my car all last week... I was thinking......
hot (weather, etc.)...
We've been having a crazy heat wave that doesn't seem to go below 30 degrees Celsius at night, so we've been neglecting it.....
At the self-service car wash in 2Rinkan that I usually use, I have to finish the work before 8:00 p.m. and pull up, so I had looked into coin-operated car washes in the neighborhood that are open until midnight, but I was too lazy to do so....
The other day on the way back from a touring trip, I heard a rattling sound that I thought was probably the chain running out of oil, but it seemed to be coming from the front, so I wanted to wash the car and check the body at the same time.
We'll be fine once the sun goes down!
So, today. The forecast was for 3 degrees lower than yesterday, so I finally went.
I called to make an appointment for 6:30 p.m., applied hackberry water all over my body, and then set out with the best of intentions. The sun was still up when I arrived, but I calculated that the sun would be setting by the time I finished washing the car.
It took about 20 minutes from my house to arrive at 2Rinkan, and after rehydrating, I went to the reception counter to borrow a set of car washing equipment....
Wet the car body evenly to remove dust, then use car shampoo & sponge....
Wash it....
Wash it....
I'm going to wash it all up.
I thought I could scrub the old chain oil with car shampoo and a brush at this stage... I thought I'd have to use a car shampoo and a brush to scrub the old chain oil off, but the chain lube that I got from the bike shop was a rather heavy type, and it was sticking to the chain with dust, making it hard to remove.
I had brought some chain cleaner with me, but it was still hot while washing the car, so I didn't feel like taking it out and applying it... For now, I just attacked the car shampoo and was done.
When the car wash is complete, use a blower to roughly remove water droplets.
The water on the exterior of the car was blown off to some extent, but he was still sweating....
Then, I moved the body and checked the body again while wiping it down.
The fall injury from last month has a nice little flavor to it."Weathering paint"I think it's my favorite.
So I wiped the inner tubes of the front forks with the silicone spray I brought, applied Barrier coat to the body of the car, and put it on the chain."Water displacement chain lubes for use in wet conditions."I'm at the end of my energy level after lubricating.
As usual, the chemical wacos rate is high.
When I took a breath and checked the car body again, I found that when I fully locked the handlebars, the other dayBrake hoses installed along with the radial master.I was a little concerned about the fact that the length of the "1" is pretty close to the end, but no problem.
By the time I got home, the rattling noise had disappeared... It seems that the cause was the chain running out of oil....
So I'm cleaned up. I wonder where I should go for my next touring to cool off..... But it's supposed to rain both Saturday and Sunday this weekend....
