I woke up at 6 a.m., but actually woke up at 8 a.m... The day before, I was online until 2 a.m. on a Saturday, but I had to deal with a call from work, so it was unavoidable....
We left a little after 9 a.m., when we should have reached the Venus Line... I filled up my tank at a gas station near my house and got on the Tomei highway....
So, I got what I deserved for oversleeping.Traffic congestion on the Tomei, Ken-O Expressway, and Chuo Expressway is moderate at key points....That's right. It's the middle day of a three-day weekend with such beautiful weather. I'd be crazy not to go out... It took us a little over two hours to get to Shakado PA, where we took our first break.
The day before, we had planned to start off by enjoying the Venus Line, but this time we didn't. We went straight to Matsumoto.
It's been a while since I've been to Kamikochi.
We arrived at Kamikochi around noon, and the leaves were already changing color.
We were a little hungry, so we took a break at Roadside Station Kazanosato. Today's lunch was buckwheat noodles with inakakuna greens. Inakakuna is a local indigenous species and a member of the red turnip family. The buckwheat noodles were served with some pickles.
Soba alone was not enough for me, so I bought some wasabi croquettes at the store. It had grated wasabi in it and was slightly green. I ate it next to my bike, which had a certain Kawasaki color to it.
After eating dinner, we headed for Gifu via Awa Pass.
Rain? Didn't you hear?
When I was running, I was thinking that I should take another rest because there is a footbath at Hirayu Onsen....
[Lesson learned] Even with a 10% chance of precipitation, it's different up in the mountains. So, it's starting to rain. The roadside thermometer I saw a while ago read 15 degrees Celsius. The forecast was for a high of 30 degrees Celsius today, so I wore a T-shirt and a mesh jacket. Of course, the T-shirt will get wet through the jacket..... It's cold!
After turning on the grip heaters to keep my hands warm, I hurriedly lowered my altitude. Fortunately, I was able to escape the rain clouds before I got too wet, so I was relieved.
When we got downstairs, the temperature was reasonably high. The weather recovered like a lie. As usual, we took a break at a local train station....
I was hungry, so I went to a passing convenience store. I drifted to the sock section."Gifu feeling"After enjoying the food, we snacked on Kara-Age-Kun and meat buns.
Head to the inn for dinner.
I had originally planned to head south to Seseragi Kaido, but I couldn't reach it because I was driving in a random direction to avoid the rain. At the roadside station where we took a break around 5:00 p.m., we checked the navigation system and found that it would take us about 30 minutes to reach the inn.
After 5:00 p.m., the sun went down and it became dark, so we checked into the inn as quickly as possible.
I hadn't done any preliminary research, but a quick search on my phone told me that there was a robatayaki restaurant a few dozen meters from the hotel where I could get the famous chicken and Kutami fried tofu, so I went there for dinner.
It was about 9:30 p.m. when we finished eating, but it was already midnight around us. No one was walking around, and the lights in the stores were all dark... The restaurant we were eating at closed at 21:30. The hotel was located in front of the station, but it didn't look like a fun town to walk around, so I went back to the hotel quietly....
Work from...
Yeah. I've brought my work with me on the road.
Well, I brought "Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji (Limited Edition Rock-Paper-Scissors)" from the lobby to my room, so I didn't do much work.
So, day one is over. Tomorrow, I've made a reservation for breakfast at the hotel, but I heard that it's only available from 7:00 a.m., so my scheduled time to wake up is 6:00 a.m.
