Looks like I won't be able to ride this weekend?
I guess it's an autumn rain front. The weather is not looking good this week. There is no hope for good weather this weekend either.
As usual, I've scheduled my staff to come to my house to work on Saturday, so if I'm going to go out, it will be Sunday... It's raining. It's raining.
I've only ridden my bike once this week, so I've been spending my weekday outings applying for things like this.
BMW Motorrad 95th Anniversary
95-Day New Car Owner Experience Campaign
In celebration of BMW Motorrad's 95th anniversary, we are running a 95-day new car owner experience campaign. Two winners per month will be selected by lottery to receive a brand-new BMW Motorrad and the chance to ride to their heart's content.
Since I was a kid, I haven't entered many of these sweepstakes. Now that I'm designing and managing campaigns for various companies for my job, I've always thought, "I'll never win anything.
However, one of my acquaintances won a prize and was loaned a car like this for a long time....
When I see the winning examples, my energy to apply for prizes is slightly amplified.
A lot of maintenance has been going on.
It's going to be a weekday and weekend of no riding, but there are some things I need to think about. My Ninja 650 has just under 22,000km on the odometer after a recent touring trip.
If you look at various maintenance information, it seems that there are many cases where 20,000km is the timing for the first major maintenance, and I think it's such a mileage even though I've only been driving it for a little over a year. I don't get the impression that the body itself has deteriorated over time. The engine feels so good that I think "maybe it's at its peak right now. It feels so good.
This is why I'm concerned about the consumables area.Tires were just changed the other day.so...
oil
I've been working with Motul for a while now.300V→7100I tried Motul oil, but my body can't go back to normal oil anymore....
In terms of oil performance, I think my current 7100 is more than enough, but I can't forget the shock of the first 300v, so I think I'll try 300v just one more time.
Battery
the other dayA little cold early morning in Gifu touringThe battery was so weak that I said to the driver, "This battery won't die before the engine starts, will it? The car battery was so weak that it looked like it was going to die.
It's going to be a winter season.Use heating wear Heatech for both top and bottom as well as grip heaters. The load on the battery is scheduled to be quite high as the number of opportunities should increase. I think it's a good idea to replace it as soon as possible.
I mean, I forgot to mention that I had a tester.
So, I measured it. It seems to be still in the good range. Recently, there are also lithium-ion batteries, and even if they are made by YUASA, the price is quite different between Japanese and Taiwanese batteries, so this is something to investigate.
chain
It's just...It's been bothering me for quite a while. This is the first time I've done this.
I've been feeling a little low on gas mileage lately, but I'd like to see if it's because the engine feels good and I've been using a higher rpm more often, or if the loss from the chain is affecting it.
I don't usually look at the average/instantaneous fuel consumption gauge on the meter, so I can only do a sensory check.
Oh, I'll have to send the OHLINS suspension in for maintenance in a little while. It costs a lot of money if you want to ride comfortably.
