Reserve the bike you're interested in.
Well, the rental bikes have been coming back recently, and the bike I'm reserving this time is the one I've been most interested in lately (the CB1100RS, to be exact).
This is the last air-cooled four-cylinder Honda CB1100 that you can buy as a new car.
I feel obligated to ride a Honda CB at least once if I'm a Japanese boy... For those of you who are of the same generation, you might be able to understand why I've been curious about this for a while now. This is a complete custom CB1100 from White House, Hakofugu cafe.
I'm afraid I'm going to buy it on impulse... So I made an inquiry. He sent me some pictures and estimates of the machine he was currently making.... I tried to find out if they had any new 2017 limited edition CB100RS in black color (they have a few)....
Even if you fully customize it to the specifications shown in this photo, it's not much different in price than buying a new Katana. But if you do this, the probability of passing the same vehicle on the road is almost zero....
Then I have to ride a CB1100 once! So I booked a rental car. I also booked a business hotel in Gunma because I wanted to ride a long distance.
Migraine from all the preparation
So, the touring was scheduled to start on Saturday. As usual, I was supposed to work at home with my company staff in the morning, but... But when I woke up, I felt dizzy.
So I dropped a line to the staff and passed on the job. I slept until mid-afternoon and felt quite recovered. I spent the rest of the day working a bit, but by evening I was almost completely recovered.
I'm ready to go! I had heard that the Bandai-Azuma Skyline, which had been closed to traffic since October 25, had opened to traffic at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, so I decided to head that way. The rental bike was inadequately loaded, so I had to get creative and pack some cold weather gear, and then I put on my RS Taichi Stealth Knee Guard....
I can go out in my jeans... in jeans...A bead of sweat runs down my forehead. A sudden migraine. It was pretty hard.I can't ride this bike... I had a sudden onset of symptoms... I had no choice but to throw two EVE pills in my mouth, call the hotel to cancel, and cancel the bike rental....orz
Why a cat cafe?
So Sunday... I was working for a while when I got a call.
I ate spare ribs and pork chops at a Western-style restaurant in town run by an elderly couple, the kind of people I want in my neighborhood, and then did a little shopping.
I saw a camping-spec one-box car at a shopping place....
Finally, we stopped by a cat cafe and Sunday was over....orz
