From the Yamba Dam, towards Kusatsu... I haven't been there.
Last night, I rented the GSX-S750, which is my favorite bike ever.
I've ridden about 40 different bikes since I've been back, from 250cc to 1300cc, and this is really my favorite.
I could have chosen another type of car, but again, I rented it.
The typhoon and heavy rains have cut off roads here and there, limiting our touring routes, but we thought we'd go see the Yamba Dam, which was very active during Typhoon No. 19, so we set our alarm for 7 a.m. the night before and went to bed, but... I woke up at 10:00 a.m. as usual....orz
Hi, Hakone.
I knew it was Mt.
So as usual, I took the Oda-Atsu-Hakone-Shindo road from Tomei to Daikan-zan. As usual, a lot of cars were stopped by police cars at Odatsu, and an autograph session was being held, but I made my way here non-stop with them by my side.
Unfortunately, it tends to be hidden by clouds, but the distant view of the ridges and snow-covered peak of Mt.
The temperature was 14 degrees Celsius and not so cold. It was a good day for touring... I wish I could have gone farther... I wish I could have gone farther, but that's my own responsibility.
You can't use a GoPro... Tsubaki Line
Now, after taking a break, I'm going to go down the Tsubaki line.I went down in the Katana I rented the other day.I'm sure you can make that comparison too!
I also brought my GoPro with me today for the first time in a while. It had actually been missing in my room for a bit, but I found it when I cleaned it, so I'm going to.
So, let's mount it on the chin mount of my helmet... But then......Well, the mounting screw on the chin mount is missing....
It's been a while since I've tried to take a video of my ride, but... I had no choice but to go straight down to Yugawara. I was out of cigarettes, so I stopped at a convenience store at the bottom of the road, but... It's so hot!...
Today I wore a BEAMS+DEUS EX MACHINA hooded parka under my leather jacket, which I bought at ZOZO for half price, but it was a little too warm. I could have just taken it off, but unfortunately I was on a rental bike and there was no storage space. So I decided to go up the Tsubaki line to get some altitude to cool off.
Unlike the downhill where I was able to ride comfortably without encountering any other bikes or cars, I encountered a few crazy riders who mistook the public road for a circuit, so I took a break along the way.
I've always wondered what it would be like to pass a car in front of you at a ridiculous speed on a winding road where overtaking is prohibited."They're attacking the pass."Why don't people go to the track? If they don't have the money or the time, why don't they go to the track?"attack and run"I think it means that you are not qualified.
By the way, at Taikan-zan, there was a group of three men who surrounded a car with an explosive muffler and were revving up the engine, and I felt bad when I saw a family walking by and frowning....I put a curse on the poor guys who can't imagine that what sounds good to them is noise to a lot of other people, because they live next door to someone who enjoys playing vuvuzelas late at night.
We took a break at a bike shop down the mountain.
It's a common story that you will encounter when you ride a motorcycle, so let's forget about it. At least in real life, I don't have to deal with such low level people.
While I was running, I was replying to messages on LINE and Facebook and making plans for weekday dinners, which made me feel better.
How much does a used GSX-S750 cost now? So I decided to go down the mountain and check out a motorcycle shop. The way up was the Hakone New Road, but the way down was the usual road.
There is also a photo exhibition of crazy people on four wheels in the restroom here....
I got back on track and headed for Shonan on the GSX-S750, which is fun even in the city. This is where I ended up.
In addition to U-Media Shonan and Red Baron Chigasaki, Honda Dream Chigasaki, Kawasaki Plaza, and Harley are also located in this fierce battleground of new and used motorcycles. Since I had time to return the rental bike, I took a break and wandered around for about 30 minutes, but unfortunately I couldn't find any used GSX-S750s.
I also saw a 4 cylinder Ducati that had just come out.
Well, this is a bike that I can't afford....
After tricking your brain by looking at these prices, you can see that these bikes are kind of free, right? You can see them with the illusion that they are free.
Rental bikes go home early.
After taking a break at the airport, it was time to head back to the hotel. From the Ken-O Expressway, we took the Tomei Expressway....
After returning the bike to the shop, I got back on the Ninja and headed home. The rear brake discs had rusted a lot during maintenance the day before, but after using the rear brakes a bit more, the rust was completely gone... Sunday was over.
