We have been planning to tour with three bikes on Saturday for a while. The person who used to ride Hornet 250 was riding Buell(Harley Davidson's V-twin sport bike mounted on the original frame)I was very much looking forward to seeing the actual car as I heard that it had switched to......... But it started raining in the morning:..... Cancelled:......
I had no choice but to work from home, but by midday the weather had improved and it was a beautiful day for biking. But I'm working as a team, so I can't stop in the middle of the day....... I had no choice but to go out for dinner after midnight and vent my desire to ride my bike.
And Sunday. The weather forecast was for rain in the evening. I thought I'd just get home before then and go touring ...... But I fell asleep twice and left at 10:00 a.m. as usual.
I had slept without taking a bath the night before, so I decided to go for a hot spring anyway. We took the Tomei highway and headed for Hakone via the Odawara-Atsugi road.
Instead of Safety & Riding, why don't we call it Safety Riding? This sign:.....
小Tataatsu is full of masks today. There were a total of three cars captured, including the one in the opposite lane. I think there's about an 80% chance of encountering a capture play in Od Atsu. ......
It has appeared on this blog twice before, and is probably the most popular day trip hot spring facility in Hakone. When I was a college student, I used to skip my classes and go there sometimes in my friend's car...... It's been more than 20 years since then, and I've been coming here several times a year.
Even though it was Sunday during the summer vacation, the time was 12:00. The open-air bath and the rest area were empty. We enjoyed the open-air bath in the middle of the day.
After the bath, I drank a glass of Tomajou and lay down in the rest area to look at the map while listening to the murmur of the river..........It's still hot in Moto Hakone. We need to gain more elevation.
So we went to Owakudani.
The parking lot is not very big, so there was a traffic jam for about 2km. There was a traffic jam in the parking lot. The road is narrow, but it is an overtaking road, so you can proceed smoothly while paying attention to oncoming traffic. Motorcycles are the best!
This area has the strongest sulfur smell in Hakone. The altitude is over 1,000 meters, so the air is cool. Park your bike in the parking lot.black-boiled eggI thought I'd have a bite to eat, but in front of the facility, there was a group of old car enthusiasts who had skimped on the 110 yen parking fee...... It's annoying that they smoke in places that don't have ashtrays, park their bikes on the sidewalk, and talk loudly when people walk by. I don't want to be seen as one of them, so I'm leaving as soon as possible.
I'm planning to be home by evening, so I'll have to find a way to get back.Daikan-zan (MAZDA Turnpike Hakone)to.
Unfortunately, we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but the temperature was a pleasant 22 degrees Celsius. After eating soba noodles, I bought some postcards for Postcrossing, which is my new hobby.
