I was able to arrive just in time, but before the sunrise, so I enjoyed the sunrise from the outdoor bath tub... It was a Saturday, and as expected, it was crowded.... When I came out of the bath, I was hungry. Come to think of it, I hadn't eaten since the afternoon of the day before. The TKG that other people were eating in the rest area was super tempting, so I took a peek at the breakfast place. Breakfast with raw eggs. Ah, here it is!...I've only got 400 yen in my wallet!
Oh, by the way, I forgot to withdraw cash and paid for the hot spring bath with the last 1,000 yen bill... Moreover, I closed the coin locker (the type that doesn't return 100 yen coins) without putting my wallet in it, so I had to open it again and pay again, consuming a total of 200 yen... If I hadn't made a mistake with the coin locker, I could have had breakfast here: ....orz
I had no choice but to leave the Hotarakashi Hot Spring. Oh, by the way, the parking lot for motorcycles was gravel when I came here two years ago, but this time it was paved.

We headed for the roadside station we had decided on as our next destination. We stopped at a convenience store on the way to withdraw some money, but it was still around 7:00 am. It was still around 7:00 a.m., before any decent restaurants were open for business... The roadside station in Doshi, which is usually filled with motorcycles, was empty. So, we climbed up the road. The road surface is a little rough due to the typhoon the other day. The asphalt is a little rough in places, but it's totally normal....The first few kilometers were all I could think about.
As we went on and on, the road gradually became something like. At the worst part, all but about 30cm of the shoulder was covered with crumbling dirt and sand, but even so, the Ninja 650 could climb it if you were careful and kept both feet on the ground. It took me about 30 minutes to get there. We arrived at our destination. I found out the name of the road, "Forest Road Fuji East (South) Line," so I googled it after I got home, and it seems to be a wide area paved forest road that is currently in the process of being built and is being abandoned. I recommend it because it gives you a sense of a different dimension, but be careful of the road condition.
Even at the dead end, we had au cell phone signal, so if something happened, we could contact you with our phones... By the way, the downhill was much scarier than the uphill.
After that, I was planning to go home and do some work, so I ended up going home at 12:00 without eating... Even a half-day trip can be quite enjoyable if you leave at 3:00 a.m., as expected.

• From the moment you start riding, the ride quality is excellent, even though it's a standard suspension model. It's more comfortable than the Ninja 650 with OHLINS front and rear because there's no vibration from the engine.
• The engine is nice, a 3-cylinder that is a good combination of a 2-cylinder and a 4-cylinder.
• If you use both feet, your heels will be lifted, but you will not feel uneasy because your feet will be firmly planted on the ball of the thumb.
• I don't have a cowl, but the running wind to my chest at high speed cruising is well controlled.
• I guess it's a competitor to the GSX-S750/1000, but this one is a bit more mature....
