I was strolling around Amazon and found this plastic model.
This is a 1/6 scale plastic model of the Katana that was released in 1982. My uncle bought it for me when I was a kid, and I remember not being able to assemble it well, which made me nostalgic.
So, today. I had some time off from work in Shimbashi.
I had an hour and a half until my next appointment. As I was drinking coffee at a coffee shop, I realized how I was going to kill time.Oh, there's that store nearby!
Tamiya Plastic Model Factory Shinbashi
I found this restaurant when I was walking from Toranomon to Shimbashi on a fine day. Because of its location, it was constantly visited by businessmen and tourists.
One in particular stands out.A couple of boys with sparkling eyes and a girl with dead mackerel eyes who was clearly not interested. There were also a few foreign couples.
I wandered around the store, reflecting on the fact that I was with a girl when I first visited. There are only Tamiya products, so there aren't many kits, but I'm fascinated by the display of assembled models.
Of course, since this is a Tamiya product, there is also a large number of Kore models. The dioramas in particular are wonderful.
I took a look around the store. ”I think I'll buy something." But I'm hopelessly clumsy with my hands, so I don't have the confidence to paint it well....... In a corner of the store"Masterwork Collection"A nicely assembled and painted product calledI'm going to stand still in that area because there was a line.
Oh, it's a bit expensive on Amazon. In stores, the cheapest ones were in the 6,000 yen range. And just when my purse strings started to loosen: ...... A work-related phone call brought me back to myself: ....... Thank you for your help.
So I left the store without wasting any money, but my desire to make plastic models ignited. If the weather forecast for the New Year's holidays was rainy, I would have bought a lot of plastic models, paints, and other things, but fortunately the weather forecast for the Kanto region was good enough for touring.
Next time I stop by, I'm sure I'll buy a pre-painted finished model, so I'll stay away for a while.
