Sleep early and prepare for Saturday.
I've been wanting a new watch since the other day, so I went to Mitsukoshi in Nihonbashi on my way out of work and found one that I liked....
"If I'm going to buy this, I'll buy a used Celo..." That's the price.
Only Mitsukoshi has this line at the lowest price. In the back of the store, there are a lot of watches that are priced so low that you could buy a new S-Class watch instead of a Celo.
It seems that they saw through my intention to buy a watch, and they recommended many other watches and gave me many catalogs, but I just wanted to feast my eyes on them, so I went home and bought another watch on Amazon.
So, on Saturday, as usual, the staff came to my house to work and talk about nothing. And then the watch arrived.
I've been interested in this model for a while. I've had my eye on this model for a while, but it's been discontinued, so I secured one.
I was so excited to open the package, even though the part-time girl gave me a bad review, "You should buy a more mature watch..." I opened the package with excitement, despite the harsh criticism I received. In the evening, I had promised to have dinner with an acquaintance, so after my part-timer left, I went to Musashikosugi for yakiniku.
And I'm going to finish Saturday, which doesn't feel like the Obon period..... I'm ready to go touring tomorrow. I set my alarm for 4 a.m. and went to bed at 10 p.m....I can't sleep... And it's 2:00 a.m., and I can hear the heavy rain outside my window....
I'm going to give up sleeping now. If you think about it, it's the Obon period and the world is closed, so why not go on a weekday?
Looks like rain. I'll do some light maintenance first.
So I woke up at 10 a.m. as usual on Sunday. I checked the weather forecast again and it looks like it's going to rain in the afternoon, so I guess it was a good thing I didn't go out.
In the meantime, I went down to the parking lot to clean the drive sprocket that had been bothering me for a while before the rain started.
The last time I cleaned it.Last December, when the odometer exceeded 8,000 km.The sprocket cover on the Ninja 650 can't be opened with the on-board tools, but I have this tucked under the rear seat....
Remove the two screws with an 8mm socket....
The cover came off with a snap and the drive sprocket appeared. (The photo shows the sprocket after some cleaning.)
There was a lot of oil and sand stuck around, but not much. Except for the moving parts, I wiped them off with a store towel sprayed with parts cleaner....
I used the straight-bristle part of the chain brush to scrape off the dirt from the moving parts, and then lightly lubricated them.
It's been a little over a year since I bought it. This summer, the odometer will read over 20,000km, and the sprockets, both drive-side and drivet-side, still seem to be in good shape.
So, the morning was over.
So I thought I'd go check this out.
I was planning to go touring and hadn't made any plans, so I think I'll go see this in the afternoon.
I'm a divorced bachelor living in a rented apartment, but I've been feeling the urge to move lately. At that time, I found this property on the web.
The first floor is a garage with electric shutters where a car and a motorcycle can be parked, and the second floor is a studio with a good amount of space, which is pretty close to the ideal.
It's what you'd call a rider's apartment. Incidentally, the rooms on the third floor and above are designed so that you can take your bike up in the elevator and look at the bike from inside the room, but the rooms are a bit small.
So I tried to contact the real estate agency... I heard that the management company was closed for the Obon period... Too bad!...
I wonder if I'll be able to go out tomorrow.
I had no choice but to move my bike tools to a collapsible cardboard toolbox I bought on Amazon the other day, and clean up the room a bit....
It's Sunday, and I'm thinking about what I'm going to do after today while writing this blog!...orz
I'll go out tomorrow.
