という訳で、Last rental in MarchSince then, I have ridden the GSX-S750 again, as I could not forget its ride quality. Last week, I went to Mito and toured on the GSX-S1000F.So, while the impressions of both are fresh. If I were to add a car, which one would it be? I'd like to compare the two from my perspective.
persistency"This is from the point of view of an old man who is a poor return rider, so please don't use it as a reference."
Compared with S1000F
If I wanted to compare it to the S1000, I would have compared it to the S1000F, but since I haven't ridden it, I compared it to the S1000F. I've heard that there is no difference between the two except for the cowl. You can find a lot more information on this at .... I'm not sensitive enough to feel the weight of the cowl.....orz
GSX-S750
GSX-S1000F Figures in parentheses are unmarked S1000.
Full Length / Full Frame / Full Height
2,125mm / 785mm / 1,055mm
2,115mm / 795mm / 1,180mm(The unmarked model is 100mm lower in height due to the lack of a cowl.)
I thought the S1000F would be a bit bigger than the S750 because of the comparison between the StoFy and full cowl models, but the sizes are almost identical. I thought the S1000F was a bit bigger than the S1000F, but the size is almost the same, and the overall length is a bit longer than the S750. The handlebars are a little higher and wider on the 1000F, and the 750 is a little harder to lean forward on? I felt that the 750 was a little harder to lean forward, but after a week of inactivity"I wonder if it's just my imagination."The riding position is almost identical.
Seat height
820mm
810mm
At the beginning of the ride, I felt that the S750 had a little less legroom than the S750. But there was a 1cm difference in seat height. I thought the rear suspension was stiff on the S1000F, but I guess the preload is set to default on both of them (unconfirmed...). The preload is probably the same for both of them (unconfirmed...), so the amount of sinkage (1G´) was the same. Well, this is something that can be adjusted.
Equipment weight
212kg
214kg( 209kg)
Comparing the S750 and S1000, the S1000 is lighter. The frame and swingarm are made of aluminum, so the weight difference of the engine is reversed. And the amount of oil is more in the S750.
Looking at it this way, it's 1.3 times the size and just the displacement difference. So if you feel like you can use the S750, you don't have to be afraid of .... I'm sure you can get used to it. It's all about getting used to it.
Equipment (front brake)
NISSIN Opposed 4-Pot Radial Mount
Brembo opposed 4-pot radial mounts
The radial mounts are said to make a difference in strength and rigidity, but in my application and speed range, I don't do any real braking. The difference between NISSIN and Brembo brand: ..... I like the S750 better because it has a crisper feel to it. It may be an individual difference, but the front brakes on the S1000F I rented felt kind of squishy and unreliable when I squeezed them. Of course, it didn't affect the braking performance, so I'm sure it will be solved when I change the brake hose to stainless mesh or something.
sound
GSX-S750
GSX-S1000F
Both have a nice four-cylinder sound, though not as pulsating as the thumping paratwin sound of the Ninja 650."heart-pounding sound"It's like that.
There are other small differences that affect the ride quality, such as the rear tire being 1cm wider on the S1000, but they are really brothers with different engines. In particular, the gauges, key cylinders, and steering wheel switches are common parts, so there are almost no differences that can be seen while driving (the steering wheel material and tank design are only slightly different).
I think 750 is better. 1000 is better .... I'm not sure.
After comparing both cars, I've come to the conclusion that I like the 750 better..... I've come to the conclusion that I like the 750 better. Of course, it's a personal thing, so some people may find the negative aspects to be beautiful, and vice versa......
Where I think 750 would be better.
Straightforward operation
It's all about this. If you're a skilled rider, the S750 will be more fun to ride, but for my level of riding around town and having a bit of fun, the S750 is more straightforward and fun to ride. Once I get used to riding it, I'll be able to enjoy it like I'm starting to feel on my Ninja 650."I need a little more torque...."I'm sure you'll get the impression that I'm a bit of a wuss. When I rented a YAMAHA MT-07If I were to use my impressions from my previous article, I would say, "Just look in the direction you want to go and give it a little input, and it will turn the corner just as you want it to. What can I say?"Manipulation for turning"and"Manipulate to run the line you want."I feel like it's the least I can do. "It's a good idea. On the other hand.I wrote about it in my post-rental impressions. However, the S1000 has an overly sensitive throttle response. You need to be a little careful when opening and closing the throttle. I also need to control the rear bouncing feeling while riding. I'm sure that getting used to it will help you improve your skills......
Adequate sound
I have a two-cylinder car, and since this is an additional car, I prefer a car with a different number of cylinders. Both cars have a nice four-cylinder sound, but.... But the 1000 is a bit loud. I'm not a big fan of loud motorcycles, but the 750 sounds good enough, and I remember being relieved when I turned the engine off at an intersection on the 1000 to hear it quiet down a bit.
I don't see much compared to 1000.
Heaven forbid, sorry ..... But the probability of having the same car next to each other at an intersection or parking lot is very low... That's the attraction for me......
This is where I think 1000 would be better.
Design
Both are in the typical Stoffer style (compared to the unmarked S1000), but I prefer the design of the 1000 because it has more curves than the crispy 750.
The liter bike as a symbol
Really, the 750 is more than enough for my specs, but I have a feeling that I won't be able to ride a liter class bike for a very long time because of my age. If I get remarried by mistake, I will get off the bike (according to a guy who is a divorcee). When you think about it, the option of riding a liter here is still very attractive.
Well, I don't know what to do.
I'm going to worry about it some more.....orz
As I mentioned a little while ago, if you add a little bit to the amount of money you'll spend on a motorcycle, you can start looking at four wheels for fun and rainy weather work transportation."trip"The GSX-S750 is a Ninja 650, so if you think of it as a dedicated one-day touring bike, you might be satisfied with renting the GSX-S750 for half of your 10 cheap bike rentals per year.
Also, by next year, there will be a new Katana based on the GSX-S1000 (or 750), right? Maybe.
