[Discharged] Brought in by ambulance. I was hospitalized for a short time for emergency surgery. No, it was just an appendectomy, so it wasn't a big deal. Sun, 22 Sep 2019
Updating the blog, which I've been slacking on for a while. Finally caught up with real time.
Summer vacation touring in mid-AugustAfter more than a month of slacking off without updating my articles, I'm finally catching up on my blog updates in real time. I'm going to catch up with it over the next three weekends.
Even during this time.
I changed the oil to MOTUL V300. Every time I put this oil in, I thought "I can feel the engine heat very much", but I realized that it is because the engine is running smoothly up to high rpm, so the normal rpm range is increased and the engine heat is increased... I realized that this is because the engine is generating more heat....
I'm addicted to a VR game called Beat Saber, and I spend an hour every night at home dancing and sweating while cutting blocks with a lightsaber....
In the daytime, I try to go bowling about three times a week in the daytime....
I was so impressed with the White House CB1100, that I asked for a quote and discussed with them about it....
I've been drinking and eating as much as ever....
I was in the hospital for a while.
The most important topic is this. The following is a long report.
September 16: Monday night
I went to my favorite restaurant to eat Thai food. It's been a while since I've been there, so we ordered a lot of food that we couldn't eat together, but my stomach can still hold a lot of food even now that I'm an adult, so I went home with a full stomach.
September 16: Midnight, Monday
I went home and went to bed, but my stomach felt tight and I had trouble sleeping. That's because I've eaten so much... I lurked around, but the bloated feeling seemed to be getting stronger. However, I didn't think anything more than, "I'm getting old. In the end, I went to bed around 4 o'clock.
September 17: Early Tuesday morning
I woke up at about 7am. The bloating that would normally clear up after a night's sleep is still there... Or rather, it's stronger than before. What is it? I lazed around in bed, wondering what was going on.
September 17: Tuesday morning
It's 9:00 a.m., I should be up by now... time, but the situation didn't improve. But I decided to take the morning off, believing that I should still recover after a little rest... I've been feeling a bit sick to my stomach. I didn't feel much pain, but after 10:00 a.m., I noticed that I was sweating all over, so much so that my hair was soaking wet. Threw in two ibu for the pain.
September 17: Before noon on Tuesday
Around 11:00 a.m., I finally realized, "This probably isn't overeating or anything," and googled a local physician. At this point, I don't feel confident enough to go to the doctor's office far away, but the nearest clinic seemed to be on lunch break, so I thought I'd go there in the afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
September 17: Tuesday, noon
Immediately after I realized that the nearest hospital was NG, my sick gear went up a notch and the cancer pain increased...."You can't simply call an ambulance."A devout believer inSo I was lost for a few minutes with my phone in my hand, but the words "intestinal blockage" flashed through my mind, so I called 119.
The moment I was told that the nearest ambulance was out and it would take about ten minutes to arrive.I'm running out of patience.
When the ambulance arrived, I had a hunch that the auto-lock door was locked, so I pulled out the charging cable for my phone from under my bed and put it in my pocket, checked that the front door key was in my pocket, crawled to the front door, unlocked the front door, and crawled down the hallway to the auto-lock monitor.
The ambulance arrives. I reached out and hit the unlock button on the auto-lock, but I slumped to the floor... But it seems that the auto-lock failed to unlock. What should I do? Just as I was thinking, my cell phone rang.
Fortunately, I knew the code to unlock the auto-lock with just a button, so I told him that as I rolled on the floor and said, "The front door is open..." I told him and waited.
"Oh man, this..." I pulled the front door key out of my pocket and grabbed it, just as the paramedics arrived in my room. As they lifted me up, they said, "Please close the front door," and handed me the key.
I was taken straight to the ambulance for a medical interview. The paramedics started looking for a hospital without asking any questions. The closest general hospital was not available, so we ran to the second closest one. For some reason, they had time to take pictures.
I arrived at the hospital in about 10 minutes. As soon as I entered the hospital and started the examination, I felt a little more conscious and explained my condition while saying, "I'm sorry I used an ambulance.
The doctors who started checking the echoes. "Aortic dissection?" I don't know why I'm so calm when I hear her looking at the monitor.
The most suspicious thing on the echo was the aortic dissection, and the appendectomy was also suspicious, but the doctor explained that he couldn't diagnose it with just an echo, so he would need to take a CT scan with contrast medium, and asked me to sign a consent form.
I signed my name several times, writing in the wrong place. At this point, the IV drip (probably for painkillers) had already been connected, so the horrible situation when I left the house was a thing of the past, and a mysterious thought flashed through my mind, "This would be embarrassing if it was an appendectomy, so please let it be an aortic dissection.
After that, while lying on a bed on casters, I was shown the ceiling of the hospital and moved around for a CT scan and chest x-ray. I think it's because of the sarcoidosis I had a long time ago, but my lungs are in shambles, so I don't think I should have surgery right away. I could hear the doctors talking.
In the meantime, the pain subsided and I was able to joke around normally. In some kind of emergency room, I was given an intravenous drip and had my blood taken, but the nurse was so bad at taking blood that I felt a little angry.
As a result of CT/X-ray, the final answer was that there was a stone stuck in my appendix. I was taken to a vacant hospital room and admitted.
September 17: Tuesday afternoon
The doctor told me that the stone could rupture or adhere to the surrounding area, so I should have the surgery as soon as possible. So I called a few places at work, contacted them via Slack and Backlog, and said, "I'm going to take the rest of the week off. By the way, at this point, I was feeling pretty energetic again, and I walked to the break space where I could make phone calls by myself, and made calls in a normal tone.
I managed to get the OK from all the customers (to be exact, one company couldn't contact the person in charge. This will be a problem later...) So I told the doctor, "I'll take the surgery. It was about 6:00 p.m. at this point.
September 17: Tuesday night
There was no operating room available that day, so I went to bed after being told that I would be operated on the next day as soon as an operating room was available.
September 18: Wednesday
He is doing much better with IV fluids and medication.I told the doctor, "Why don't you just take the medicine and go home? I told the doctor, but he laughed at me.Then, at around 2:00 p.m., I suddenly heard a voice saying, "I'll be in surgery in 20 minutes.
I wrapped myself in a loincloth called a "T-belt," changed into my surgical gown, and walked to the operating room.I was lying on the operating table, and they started asking me questions like "Is this to check your consciousness before general anesthesia? I tried my best to resist and show him that I was conscious and clear, but... I tried my best to resist and show him that I was conscious and clear... but I sank in no time.
When I woke up, the surgery was over.
When I woke up in the operating room, I rattled off to the hospital room and moved the whole bed. At this point, I thought, "I'd hate it if I had a urinary catheter," so I moved my hand loosely to touch my crotch and found that there was no straw stuck in the hole, so this is the most exciting thing that happened today! I fell asleep again, thinking, "This is the most exciting thing that happened today!
September 18: Wednesday midnight
The nurse comes in and out to check on you... The urge to urinate is unbearable... I shamelessly pushed the nurse's call and announced, "I need to pee," and for the first time in my life, I was forced to collect urine in a urine bottle. After that, I took a urine bottle by myself and tried to collect urine by myself, but I filled up the bottle twice by noon the next day because of the drip.
Sept. 19: Thursday morning
I woke up. The only person I couldn't reach on Tuesday was a sales person from a certain company, and he had been informed of the situation by our staff, but he left an uncanny number of calls on my phone... Not only did he keep calling me, but he also kept asking me, "Submit the data for ________," "When will you be back?" "Where is the hospital?" I promised myself not to accept any more of his work. However, I couldn't leave him alone, and if I tried to tell him the wrong hospital, he would probably come to me, so I sent a line to the staff to bring his computer to the hospital.
September 19: Thursday, noon
The lines that had been worn all over my body were removed and I was told, "Now, let's practice walking. Laparoscopic surgery, as expected. It's not the same as open surgery.
The staff arrived around that time. I went straight to the day room and created the data by SQL and sent it to the staff.
Afterwards, I had my first meal in 64 hours, since Monday night.
I hadn't had a drink in 50 hours, since Tuesday morning.
September 19: Thursday evening
I walked around for a bit, and I could move around quite a bit, so I asked the doctor, "How about leaving the hospital tomorrow? But he said, "Well, the day after tomorrow at the earliest.
I can't help it, so I'm going home early to play Beat Saber, go bowling, and show off how much I want to spend my three-day weekend touring and building bonfires.
September 19: Thursday night
During the last round of rounds, I stood up to greet the doctors and show them how well I was doing. The young surgeon, who was quite a bit older than me, laughed at this. "If everything goes well tomorrow morning," he promised.
In fact, it was pretty hard on my body, so I couldn't sleep at night.
September 20:Golden Yao Dynasty
While I was eating, he came to make his morning rounds, so I showed him how well I was doing again. I got permission to leave the hospital. So, my four-day, three-night stay in the hospital is over.
Sept. 20: Friday afternoon
I paid with my credit card and went home by taxi. I took a cab home after being given a huge amount of painkillers.

I'm resting at home... But I'm doing well enough to update my blog posts.
The only thing I'm worried about is that the hole in my belly button where the camera was inserted during the laparoscopic surgery has grown so big and swollen that I won't be able to work as a gravure in the future. I've reserved a rental of the new Katana for the first weekend of October, so I'll be back to touring shape by then.
