A dose of the Corona Peril
So the state of emergency has been lifted for the time being. So, I thought I'd go touring right away....
There is still a period of self-restraint in moving outside the prefecture.
I'm sure there are many people who are going through a lot of difficulties in COVID-19, and although it has been settled, the road to the end and coexistence still seems far away.
Rough and tumble from sleeping in.
I'm not familiar with it at all when it comes toThe Miyagase area was unexpectedly good when I went out with the Tracer 900 at the end of last year.I was thinking of going to the beach.... But I woke up just before noon.
I was lazing around in my room and looked at my phone and saw that the weather was about to break, so I said, "Hmm. Let's just say it's good..." I thought to myself.
I went to Rough and Road, which is less than 10 minutes away from my house, to see if I could find some tires....
I've been riding for a while now, but I'm still enjoying the bike.
I haven't been to a hairdresser in about three months because I've been living in Corona, so when I wear a helmet, my hair looks like a fallen warrior's.
I checked the tires and bought some caps....
The last touring I did was from New Year's Day on the first three days of the year. After that, I had to refrain from touring due to work, and then I entered the period of emergency declaration.
It's been 5 months since I rode out on the highway, although I had to move between stores for some heavy maintenance on my bike. .... First, I filled up the tank at the gas station and put the FUEL1 in my seat bag....
I checked the tire pressure and... From Tomei Kawasaki to Sagamihara direction.
very early
After the heavy maintenance, the bike is in great shape (actually, I can hear a noise somewhere in the body, like the cowl is shaking).
It's been a while since I've been on the road, so the feeling is a little different. The engine was revved higher than before, and I was cruising at about 100km/6,000rpm up in 4th gear. Even though we were in Kanagawa Prefecture, a short drive on the highway took us to the countryside.
Although I knew the key words Miyagase, Tsukui-ko, and Sagamiko, I didn't know the area at all because I rarely went there. I drove in the direction of the blue signboard that said Sagamiko.
But the parking lot by Lake Tsukui that we passed for a moment was still closed. There were a good number of cars and motorcycles, but it was still a period of self-restraint where we should not be careless.
If I'm not careful, I'll end up crossing the border of the prefecture, and I'll wander off the main road. It's been a while since I've ridden, and I'm having trouble relaxing my shoulders. I take a break every now and then because I'm feeling a little weak from my time on the estate. Every time I take a break, I look at my Ninja 650.
You're my wife, even though I bought an extra car.
I really like the shape of this bike more than any other bike I've ridden. It's true that it's a cost-cutting two-cylinder bike made in Thailand, but I fell in love with the shape and ride quality of the old Ninja 650, which I took over from a 400 of the exact same design.
I have a feeling that I will seriously drive this vehicle for more than 100,000km. The odometer will probably reach 50,000 km next year, so I'll probably do an overhaul on the waist... No, I think I'll do a full overhaul while there are still enough parts left at the manufacturer.
one's way back
Well, after a short run, I was satisfied for the time being. It's not much fun to drive in the suburbs of Kanagawa, so I headed for home while it was still light. And while taking a break at Atsugi PA, I noticed that...
The low beam was supposed to have stopped working when we were touring in September last year. It's weak, but it's glowing, isn't it?
On the other hand, the high beam side, which was switched to low beam, is not lit. Could this be a side effect of the maintenance work done at Kawasaki Plaza? I'll have to replace the low beam LED with a new one, though.
I've been wearing Protech's products since I was riding a Ninja 400, and I've even written about them in my blog post.
SphereLight's new fanless product looks good, but I'll have to use two LED controllers if I install this one, so I'll ask Pro-Tech to do it again.
Tomorrow, I'll use compound to polish the erosion-like spots on the coco that I noticed while touring.
