Well, I couldn't ride the bike on Saturday because of the cat hospital. The weather forecast for Sunday was not good either: .... But it looks like it's going to get better. I looked at the weather app for the Venus Line and it was already forecast to be sunny.
So, since I could go touring, I started rummaging around in my room the night before.
I unpacked the Tanax shell seat bag (carbon pattern) that I had lying in the corner of my room, and went down to the parking lot. I ordered an extra one, but still haven't received the ETC card for the GSX-S1000, so I transferred the card from the Ninja 650.... .and brought the GSX-S1000 pillion seat into the room....
I installed the seat bag in my room and finished it at midnight.
And in the morning. A heavy rain warning is in effect.Okay, two naps!
But there was still a heavy rain warning....
But it was not so dark outside the window. When I was watching TV for a while, blue sky appeared through the clouds. The time was about 11:30 a.m., I think. It was the weekend when the ban on out-of-prefecture travel was lifted, and I had a feeling that it would be crowded, so I changed my destination to Hakone and set off.
Hakone in red
And the usual turnpike.
From Tomei to Oda-Atsu, I enjoyed more than double the power and almost double the torque of the Ninja 650. At this point, I knew it was impossible to ride this bike. If I had to use a metaphor, I'd say it's like an old man walking his Afghan hound.
However, if you ride with restraint, the extra car should be worth it! First, we went up the turnpike to enjoy the winding, medium-speed corners.
No, it's fun. "The first two seconds of acceleration on a big bike are..." It's like.
On top of that, we had a rigid body and good tires. We headed for Daikan-zan with a full sense of security.
It's too fast, isn't it, GSX-S1000?
But well, the absolute speed range. Cornering speed in particular is too different from the Ninja 650. If you look down at the speedometer while taking a medium speed turn on the turnpike, you'll see that you're going about +20km/h... Once you've finished the turn, just open the throttle a little and you'll be on your way to the next turn in no time!...
After all, there are pebbles stuck to the tires when the car stops... The viscosity of the tire is so high that the centrifugal force of stopping the car does not cause these pebbles to scatter... And.... That's why the grip is so good.
After the turnpike, I wandered around Hakone's general roads. I was going to go to the Tsubaki line, but I took a wrong turn and headed back towards Kannami town in Shizuoka. I'm enjoying the process of getting used to riding the GSX-S1000 at full throttle.
This is the first time I've ever had to drive a Corona. The wind from the front of a naked vehicle. The handlebars and steps transmit a certain amount of slight vibration. In addition to the loud intake and exhaust noises in your ears, there is the GSX-S .... that you are not used to riding yet. I get a little tired....orz
As I was riding along, I thought, "Oh, by the way, my Ninja 650 is due for inspection this month. I should go back and get it inspected..." So we headed back home for a short ride.
I got off the Hakone New Road and got on the Oda-Atsu, and slipped through the congested Tomei to get home.
Vehicle Inspection in Green
I'm switching to a green bike.
I've been having a lot of trouble, so I just had a 12-month checkup at Kawasaki Plaza in May. The optical axis was adjusted 10 days ago when I had the LED bulb repaired. The light axis was adjusted when I had the LED bulb repaired 10 days ago.
So, I was thinking of having a user inspection... But I can't seem to find the time on weekdays in June.....
So, I decided to leave the inspection to Rough and Road.
I told him that I had already serviced the car and that I would probably be able to get the cheapest plan .... However, I asked them to change the tires to MICHELIN ROAD 5 and the oil and filter to MOTUL 300V. Sunday was over.
