Well, as I checked the weather forecast last evening, the weather is going to be unsettled today.
As usual, I lingered in the hotel room and left at 9:30. My bike was the only one in the parking space.
Today we will be going up in altitude, so we switched from the mesh gloves of the day before to winter gloves, and unlike the Ninja 650, this bike does not have grip heaters yet, so we will be relying on the gloves to keep our hands warm.
Maybe I should have brought my electro-thermal mesh jacket and electro-thermal gloves.
Gold Line to Lakeline
So we took the Gold Line first....
We went straight into the lake line. Nice winding road as usual. There was less traffic coming from the Aizuwakamatsu side than from the Fukushima side, so it was more comfortable.
It's cold. Do you want to go to the skyline?
And in no time at all, here it is.
The entrance to the Bandai-Azuma Skyline. There are a few motorcycles on the road, but I'm the only one wearing a summer mesh jacket.
While taking a short break, I thought about how cold it would be if I went up like this, even though I was wearing the GU lined hoodie I bought yesterday underneath....
Yes. Highlands.
At an altitude of over 1,600 meters, the road shoulders were slightly covered with autumn leaves, but it was cold, so we didn't stop... I took some photos at Jyododaira, but I didn't stop....
It was still very cold, so we decided to lower the altitude and only stopped once on the way.
It was still too early for the leaves to change color, but seeing the trees with a hint of color, I decided that I would go on a tour next time.
This time, my GoPro was recording all the time while I was on the Bandai-Azuma Skyline, so I'll leave you with the environmental video. When I speed up, my fingers and body get cold from the wind, so I'm driving slowly.
have a meal and then go home
So I went down the mountain and got cold... I wanted to eat something warm, so I slipped into a facility that looked like a roadside station.
The season when my glasses fog up when I eat hot soba noodles... I won't wear a mesh jacket again until next year... I promised myself that I wouldn't wear a mesh jacket until next year, and got on the highway to go home.
I remember there was almost no traffic, but I don't remember if it was true or not... I don't remember if it's true or not... But we made it to Kawaguchi PA without too much trouble, so we were as relaxed as if we were in our room.
Oh, I lied. There was a traffic jam.
I remember when I was accelerating through a slipstream, I opened the throttle just like I did on the Ninja 650, and my body was thrown backwards as I accelerated, and I was a little scared at the right time.
So I made it home safely via the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway.
In order to operate the chain and shutters in the garage, you have to pause, take off your gloves, take out the remote from the seat bag... It's a pain in the ass... And the shutter opens so slowly... Too slow....
So here's a summary video.
The next day my muscles were sore from riding a faster bike than me for so long. The next day, my muscles were sore from riding faster than me for longer.
