A little early, but first inspection
It's a little early, but the gears are starting to feel familiar and I want to change the oil, so I went for an initial inspection. The odometer reads about 600km at the bike shop. It's only been a week since I took delivery of the bike.
I make an appointment at 18:00 and head to a bike shop in Chiba, Japan where I found a BRIGHT official new stock of NInja 650. Oh, and by the way, here's the store. Sodegaura Honda
It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get there from my house, even if I take the road down except for the Aqua-Line. If you take the Metropolitan Expressway, it takes about 50 minutes.
Aqualine of Fear

I can't drive straight due to too much crosswind. I'm riding in the left lane and the wind is blowing from the right. I bank the bike a bit and ride as if I'm consciously changing lanes to the right, but the bike drifts to the left and crosses the white line on the shoulder......
Even in such a situation, I tried to run under 4,000 rpm for break-in, but it was scary. I was afraid that if there was a strong gust of wind, I might fall into the sea. I even had a feeling that it would fall into the sea. ......
Once we landed on the Chiba side, we went to a convenience store to have a smoke and get settled before going to the bike shop.
Oil change.
Initial inspection + oil and filter change; work completed in about an hour.

First, a cigarette while looking at the bikes returned to the front of the store: ...... From this angle, the slimness of the bike stands out.
So, remembering the horror of the outward journey, I checked the wind speed at Aqualine: .....

On the return trip, the wind will be coming from the left side. If you are in the left lane, you may be pushed into the right lane, and if you are in the right lane, you may hit the median.........
However, I didn't feel like driving all the way around Tokyo Bay to get home, so I started driving towards Aqualine.
After changing the oil, the car was able to enter 1st, neutral, and 2nd gear much more smoothly. The RPM rise is much smoother.After a pleasant ride, we paused at the entrance to Aqualine. I checked the wind speed again.
Wind speed up to 13 meters!
I can't. I can't.
Selecting a return route
For now, I'll think about it over dinner at the conveyor belt sushi restaurant that was right in front of me.
So I had a bite to eat, walked out of the restaurant and did a prayerful search on ......
Wind speed 16 meters...
I gave up on the aqualine.
This route allows you to get home without crossing the ocean.
So the odometer has safely reached 700km.
