Let's isolate the cause.
Well, I was so excited to buy it, but it didn't power up at all during the touring the other day. The Heatech glove comes on when connected directly to the battery.
I'm not sure if it's the jacket side wiring that's broken, but I think it's a little too likely that both sleeves are dead. I've seen many reports of problems with the 2016 model I bought on the web, so I can't leave out the possibility that there is still a voltage problem on the glove side.
So, I had to isolate the cause... So, after dark, I went out to the home of a fellow bonfire builder.
He also uses Heatech upper and lower plus gloves, so we used my gloves and his gloves to verify the connection. His apartment in Shibuya has a large underground parking lot with a large motorcycle parking space, so I took a walk and looked at the vehicles until he came down to the parking lot.
Some of them looked like big KATANAS that had been lying in the dust for several years... What a waste!
And then my friend came down, and we started to test... The result... It seems that the cause is a broken wire on the side of my jacket... I connected it to my friend's jacket, and the power came back on!...
So, I'll have to buy a new Heatech jacket... It's going to cost a lot of money.
N-3B is warm.
I took a break at Mizonokuchi 2Rinkan on my way back on 246.
It was quite windy last night. It was quite windy last night, and there were dead leaves swirling and flying on the road. The car's body was affected a bit, but the handling was still a bit unsettled. I checked the air pressure of the tires with the air bottle provided in the store, and found that the front wheels were at about 2kpa instead of the specified 2.25kpa.
I usually like to ride with higher air pressure, so I adjusted the air pressure of both front and rear wheels to about 5% higher than the default value.
I went to SOX and looked at some used Triumphs before heading home. By the way, I wore the Cominet protective innerwear today, so I could do without the protector on the jacket side......
So I rode the bike for the first time with the N-3B.
Alpha Industries N-3B TIGHT
As you would expect from a military product, wind resistance is not a problem at all. I bought the tight silhouette version so it doesn't flap around while riding. It also has a length that covers the waist, so it keeps you warmer than other riding jackets.
When I get off the bike and walk around, it doesn't look like I'm a rider but more like casual wear, and I think this will be my main riding jacket this winter.
Pig Feed Night
After I found out why I couldn't use my gloves, I had dinner. I couldn't resist the pig food craving that had been attacking me for a few days, so I had Jiro Ramen.
If I gain too much weight, I won't be able to wear the jacket anymore.
