Well, it's Sunday. Work is a little calmer now, so I'll be touring for a while. I'm going to go around the Izu Peninsula for rehabilitation... I set my alarm for 7am, but woke up at 9:30am. The departure time is almost 10:30... But in this season, the choice is between the Izu Peninsula and the Boso Peninsula, so for now, I'll take the Tomei....
The temperature was a little too low on the turnpike I checked before I left... So I decided to go.
We continued from the Tomei to the Nagaizumi-Numazu interchange via the Shin-Tomei, which had a strong crosswind. After getting off the highway, we took our first break at Roadside Station Izu Gateway Kannami.
Something on the other side of the street."Meitai Park"I don't know if that's been there before.
Straight ahead. South Izu.
After a short break, we headed straight for the Izu Expressway. The road surface was a little damp, and we could feel the occasional raindrop.
Without stopping the bike at all, we rode smoothly from Joren no Taki to Amagi Pass via Kawazu, which was empty after the cherry blossom season.
Deer steak at Kiku-chan Restaurant
So, here is today's destination.I was going to go there at the end of last year, but I overslept as well and changed the destination to a tour of the undrilled tunnels of the Boso Peninsula.Kiku-chan Restaurant
I had a venison steak, which I wanted to try as a gibier lover....
It was probably a little after 2:00 p.m. when we finished eating.
We took a break on the wooden deck outside the store to think about the route we were going to take.
Perhaps it was because it had been a long time since I had been on a tour, but I felt kind of dull even though I hadn't traveled that far (this is a flag. (This is a flag. I'll get it back later.). By the way, one of my ex-family members wanted to make a DIY cat bed in the bay window of our apartment, so we decided to head to Yokohama to do some shopping at a home improvement store, even though it was still early.
Rain? Didn't you hear? (Lie. I did.)
On the way back, we thought we'd take the Izu Skyline, and headed north along the coastline, but just as we were coming back to Kawazu, the rain started to fall... I knew beforehand from the forecast that there would be a high chance of precipitation for about two hours in the afternoon, but I thought, "Well, it'll just be a little sprinkle, right? I didn't bring any rainwear, of course.
I looked ahead and saw black clouds on the land side. But the ocean side was clear, so I thought, "It'll be fine if I just drive along the coast. So I kept running and here is the result.
It's hard to tell from the video, but there was a lot of rain... The top half of my body was soaked, but I was wearing a leather jacket, so I was safe. The lower half of my body didn't get soaked as long as I was running, thanks to the full cowl car... Even though it was March, the temperature was still in the single digits in the mountains. You will freeze to death on the Izu Skyline!...
The rain cloud radar showed that the peak point had already passed, and it looked like the rain clouds would be completely gone in another 30 minutes, so we took shelter under a tree on the side of the road for a while.
The return trip and the end of the story.
After that, we went to the Izu Skyline Amagi IC as planned.
We drove along the Izu Skyline, which was empty as usual.....
Fuji on the way....
We went down the slightly crowded Hakone Shindou, making full use of it.
So, we took our last break at Oiso PA in Odashi... I'm not sure what to say, but I'm feeling strangely tired today.
"I've only done about 350km, but it's been a while since I've done any touring, so I'm a little tired... (second flag)" I took a long break, and at this point it was a little late to go to the DIY corner of the home center to pick out some wood and have it cut. I decided to drop a line to my ex-family and just go see the cat, and started driving again.
So, after playing with my cat in Yokohama, I went to have dinner with my ex-family members at an Indian restaurant nearby... While we were waiting for the food we ordered... I was feeling a little sick... After drinking the first soup... I was at my limit.
I asked her to take out the food that was served and returned to my apartment to borrow a thermometer, and the results are as follows. Please examine w
