Is this the highest level of Sto-fi?
Okay.GSX-S750This is my second StoFy experience after the first. I've booked a Kawasaki Z1000 for my next ride, but I think this second bike will be a benchmark in a way.
So, in conclusion, at the pace of a guy who usually goes touring, the benefits of the GSX-S750 in terms of price and displacement are"running style (of a horse, e.g. a front runner)"I didn't feel much in terms of ..... I'm sure there's a difference in the higher end of the spectrum....... It's true that this one is clearly sharper in terms of acceleration from a standing start, but .... My skills are not good enough to make the best use of it...... I'm sure you'll be able to find something that works for you. This is a great idea. It's one that will satisfy your desire to own........
When I reached the entrance of the Turnpike, I thought "I don't see the point of riding such a high performance bike on public roads, or rather, there is no clear advantage between this bike and the GSX-S750 when riding normally. I thought.....
Well, maybe it's just my opinion because my brain is infected with bell fungus.......w
I'll have to try the Triumph Speed Triple, YAMAHA MT-10, HONDA CB1000R, SUZUKI GSX-S1000, etc...... None of these bikes are available at the bike rental shop I have a fixed rate contract with & the CB1000R is not yet on the market.......
Here are some notes on my impressions. As usual, this is the ramblings of an amateur.
Lovely place.
- Enhancements #1: Electronic control
Equipped with ABS and TRACON, of course. It also has electronic suspension. The electronic suspension works in concert with sensors to adjust the damper in milliseconds. So this is what the wiring on the front fork is for.
Indeed, I was able to run through the corners at a safe and surprising speed even though I was not working very hard.
- Full-featured equipment No. 2: Grip heater and cruise control
The temperature was still in the single digits on the mountain, so I was grateful for the grip heater as standard equipment & the indicators were naturally built-in to the meter. Also, the cruise control. For example, when I set the speed at 100km/h and let off the gas pedal, it would momentarily engage the engine and slow down a few kilometers before recovering to the set speed. As I recall.I had arrived at the DUCATI Multistrada.I'm a little disappointed about that, because I didn't have that problem with the cruise control. However, it makes highway cruising a lot easier.
- Enhanced equipment #3: Quickshifter
previousThe BMW R1200RS that I tested. At that time, I didn't feel it was very convenient because it was just a test drive of a few kilometers, in the city and the clutch was light. This time, however, I drove it on a winding road, and my impression changed completely. It's super convenient. Here.
You can upshift and downshift with the accelerator pedal open without any discomfort, so you can shift gears while cornering with ease.
- Moderate size and comfortable position
The bike leans a little more forward than the GSX-S750, but not to the point where it's hard on my back. I've heard that the Ninja 650 makes me look small (I'm 5'9"), but the S1000R seems to fit me just fine from the way I look in the window on the street. The S1000R seems to be a perfect fit for me. There's no cramped legroom, and the bike weighs about the same as a Ninja 650, so it's easy to maneuver. The seat is also firm enough to allow for easy weight transfer when cornering, and it didn't affect my ass in any way, even after a long ride.
- cornering machine
As I mentioned earlier, it was the most comfortable cornering machine I've ever ridden out of the 20 or so bikes I've ridden. Well, as with the GSX-S750, you have to discount the difference in tires. By the way, this time I was riding on BRIDGESTONE BATTLAX S20F tires.
- Brakes that work steadily and powerfully.
The front and rear brakes are both Brembo, especially the front radial mount calipers and radial pump master. The brake hoses are also stainless steel mesh and are the most controllable ever.
......Oh, and I have to go put a radio pump on my Ninja.......
- Best of all, ...... Fast!
It may not have a body that can go 300km/h like the Megaspo! It may not be a vehicle that can go 300km/h like the Megaspo, but the sharpness of the acceleration brought by the lightweight body may be the best I've ever experienced in a vehicle. Yes, it is."Sharp acceleration"This is the perfect word for it. It's not scary at all because it has a solid suspension. This is awesome.
Oh, and I still like the gold inverted front fork outer covers.
Hmm? What is it?
- Torque and power that can't be used up
What is it? After all, 5,000 rpm is enough. The maximum output and torque of 9,250~10,000 rpm is not used unless you are forced to downshift during high-speed cruising.....
- Noisy muffler
This is actually quite a problem......The vehicle we rented was equipped with the optional Akrapovic sports muffler.......
Of course, it's a genuine OP, so I'm sure it's compatible with vehicle inspections...... I'm afraid to start the engine in my parking lot. The exhaust sound of a motorcycle is a wonderful sound: ..... Only some perverts, including myself, feel that the exhaust sound of a motorcycle is a nice sound, but for many people it is just a noise....... If I were to ride around making this kind of noise, people would think, "Oh, he doesn't have a place in his real life where he can express himself in his work and friendships, does he?" You could be forgiven for thinking: .... In fact, the people I know who don't ride motorcycles."Larger exhaust"That's how I feel about.
Oh, and when you back off the gas pedal, you get an afterfire."bang"I thought, "Isn't that a stock option? I wonder if it can be fixed by ECU setting or something? I'm not sure.
I wonder if the standard muffler would have a more mature sound.
- Engine noise when revving up
Something high frequency."beep"I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. I felt it was not very sensual..... Even though it's a four-cylinder engine, the engines I've liked so far have had a certain sense of pulse to them, but this one seemed more like a motor.
- Vibrations on the handle....
Cruising at 3,000~4,000 rpm on the highway, the handlebars vibrated quite a bit. Even on the paratwin Ninja 650, my palms went numb to a level I've never experienced before!.....
- Neutral was hard to get out......
Well, I guess it's just a matter of getting used to it.
- price.....
What the hell, you can't afford it, can you?If you ask me, that's exactly what I'll say: ...... It's a good bike. That's for sure. But if you're looking for a hobby bike and can afford to spend almost 2 million dollars on it, ..... The other day I saw a GSX-S750 that was used and it was relatively affordable.......
Switch to the Ninja 650.
I returned the rental, switched to the Ninja 650, and rode straight from Tokyo to Yokohama......
It's slower than the GSX-S750, but it's still more than fast enough to lead the flow of traffic on public roads. The riding position was too upright and lordly right after I switched to the GSX-S750, which made me think "should I squeeze the handlebars down a little more? But the wide visibility is also very attractive.
At this point, if someone said to me, "I'll give you either a Ninja 650 or an S1000R for free. I think I'd take the S1000R and sell it to buy a Ninja 650 and use the money for customization.
I'm not sure, but I've come to the conclusion that "Miranda Kerr is a super beauty, but can I go out with her? .... I don't think so, because we live in different worlds!" I don't know. (Maybe not: ....)
