SJ6 Legend.....failure......
At the end of last yearPurchased as a Christmas present for myself. This is an action cam.
It's a GoPro clone called SJCAM SJ6 Legend.
(The camera is reasonably priced (compared to the GoPro Hero5), but has a good reputation for its 4K capability with shake and fisheye correction. There were some points where the manual was not sufficiently explained, but I found the manual on the web and solved the problem.....
The only complaint I have is that the use of the external microphone and charging are exclusive use. The only complaint I have is the exclusive use of external microphone and charging, so I haven't been able to use the external microphone well yet, but I have no complaints about the video quality itself.
This video isWhen I rented a GSX-S750 and went up the turnpike. In fact, it was taken inWhen I rented a BMW S1000R the following week.I had brought it with me because I was planning to go through the same turnpike!.......
But when I tried to turn on the power at the entrance of the turnpike, it didn't make any sense........
I verified it when I got home, and it is OK if it is powered from an external power source, but it won't turn on if it is a battery: ..... By the way, I have three batteries including a spare, so I don't think it's a problem on the battery side........
I tried to contact them but .... It's a pain in the ass.......
It's only been three months since I bought it, so it's still within the warranty period, and since it's an Amazon Marketplace purchase, I'm sure they'll do a good job supporting it, and when I inquired about it from the Amazon purchase history screen, there was an answer that they would repair or replace it: ........ However, it seems that the company that sells this product is in China, and in order to request a repair, you have to send the device to mainland China via EMS (Express Mail Service). The shipping fee is refundable through Amazon, which is very conscientious, but ..... bother(some) to do.
Also, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it out in time for the GW touring season. At times like this, if the product is made by a company that has a domestic base, the response will be different...... It's a good thing that I'm not the only one. Well, that is also the origin of the low cost.
I think I'll buy a new action cam.
So, I had no choice but to send it in for repair... Just when I was thinking that I should get it repaired, there was news about a low-cost version of GoPro.
